So, as promised; I 'd like to take the time today to write about what people should know or keep in mind when getting a psychic reading. Hopefully this is beneficial and educational to both newbies to the world of psychics and the seasoned vets who have been coming in for readings for many years.

There are a lot of things I feel everyone should keep in mind before getting a reading and since there is a lot to cover I will be doing this blog is parts. I'm not sure how many at this point, but I guess we can all watch the list grow together!

With that being said: I now give you my first tip on things you should know!

Not all Psychics are created equally

Now I'm sure when you first read this you may think to yourself, " Well that's pretty obvious. Some are great and some are suckish". Well those may not be your thoughts verbatem, but it might be along those lines. Now, this is a very true statement with out a doubt.

Some psychics out there are going to "wow" you with their abilities and knowledge of things you feel are private or that no one else knows. They may be able to tell you in great detail what's been going on in your relationship or about your darkest fears and worries. While others might give you generalized readings that are either way off the marker or sound vaguely accurate and could be applied to almost anyone.

However, when I say, " Not all psychics are created equally." this is not really the type of equality I am speaking of. I am speaking of their abilities.

Let me explain:

Now, when you see the word "Psychic' if you are like most people who aren't "Psychic", you may immediatly think, they can know your name, see what color shirt you are wearing, tell you your past, your present, your future, hear your guides, speak to the dead, know how you feel, see visions etc.

While this may be true of some- to have all of these abilities. It certainly is not the ability of all.

Like most people in any given profession or with any amount of natural abilities, we each have strengths and weaknesses. We may have specialties in one area or and advanced ability or knowledge while in other areas we either just don't know how to do certain things or have more novice capabilities.

When you are looking to get a reading from someone it is important for you to first determine what you are looking for.

Do you want to know what is going on right now? Are you trying to make sense of the past?

Do you just want to know the end result of the path you are on or what happens if you choose option A over option B?

Perhaps you want to speak to your grandmother whose passed on. Perhaps you are curious about what your guides have to say?

Are you needing to know about love matters and how she/he truly feels for you?

All of these concerns each of us tend to have at one point or another are worth being looked into, but be sure you know enough about your needs and expectations and know enough about the reader and their abilities or capabilities before you progress into a session, especially a paid session.

You want to be sure they are equally matched.

You wouldn't see a ear nose and throat specialist if you had a strange sore on your big toe would you? Of course not!

Most men and women in the field of psychic readings will either have a profile on their website or webpage that will describe how their services work or if you ask them, if they are genuine and understand that the client has a right to know- they will be happy to explain their process to you before you hire them for a reading.

Some examples of things you might ask before hiring an advisor would be:

How long have you been doing this type of work?

What are your strongest abilities?

( clairvoyant, empathic, medium etc)

How do your abilities work?

( Do you see, hear, feel messages)

Are there any types of services/information you are unable or unwilling to give?

( predictions, dates, remote viewing etc, telling you what someone else has going on in their private life)

These 4 questions you might find will be your best friends in helping you find the right type of psychic for the work you need done in your time of need.

Hello and Welcome to my first Blog entry.

I've had this site up and running for a while now, but haven't had much time or peaceful moments to take the time to write. I am glad to say that now that I am able to work from home full time doing readings and my son is now in Kindergarten full time- that is about to change.

I still have a full life and a mind that goes a mile a minute so I can not say I'll be able to make daily or even set weekly posts but I will try to at least write one blog a week.

I intend to focus on psychic, supernatural, spiritual types of things here as well as a few political types of rants I am sure will come out from time to time as well.

If you read a blog and like it, please feel free to share it with friends or loved ones!

Well I should begin writing my first real blog within the next few days and thought it would be appropriate to discus what people should know about before getting a reading.
