ARIES: Issues of a personal nature are simmering in the background and you seem to be torn between wondering how to take care of them when 90 percent of your energy is caught up in the need to put food on the table. There was a time when life went a little easier. If you recall you weren’t as caught up in the system in those days and everything went just fine. Cutting back on your duties may be the only way to find some middle ground. Check in with yourself long enough to see how much of this is necessary and how much of it is sabotaging your peace of mind.

TAURUS: You seem to be maintaining a positive attitude in the midst of crisis; either that or you’re feeling like things are about to turn around. You have good reasons to expect the best out of whatever’s going on. As long as you walk softly and carry a big stick your ability to make your outer world dealings go the way you want them to is assured. Don’t think you can succeed without plenty of proof or backup, however. Nothing you say or do will carry any weight with anyone if you can’t buttress all of your words and actions with more than just false confidence.

GEMINI: You don’t need to know what’s going on to feel safe in a situation. Living with uncertainty is an art. If the changes of the past year or so have uprooted your sense of clarity it’s to be expected. As you try to pull your life together you are beginning to see that you keep attracting the same sort of people and situations. Experience and repetition are there for us to learn from. Once you begin to examine the patterns that keep leading you into the same old thing the unsolved mysteries of your childhood will start to take on a whole new meaning.

CANCER: You have to weigh more than one choice right now. If this was just about you it would be easier, but there is more than one person involved in your decision and their interests have to be considered. On the one hand you could go for it and let everyone figure it out for themselves. This would make sense were it not for the fact that you care about them and you know that you can’t leave them stranded. It seems to me that all you really have to do is what’s right for you, and that will include making arrangements that cover your debts to others.

LEO: The way things are going you’re not sure you can keep up with whatever the demand involves. It’s as if you’ve had it with trying to prove yourself. Spending this much energy trying to figure out what it will take to be seen for what you are has to make you wonder why it’s never enough. Stop the madness! This, along with enigmas in the relationship area might call you to review everything and look at the extent to which other people’s exaggerated expectations have sucked up not just your energy, but much of what keeps your spirit in touch with its purpose.

VIRGO: Don’t overanalyze what would be a lot simpler if you let it rest in peace. It doesn’t matter how you got here; the point now is to keep moving forward. Closure is often denied in situations that are as complex as what you’ve been through — and since experience is the only teacher, it’ll take you a while to understand why all of it had to happen. For now, focus on what it will take to keep your spirit open to changes that are about to pull you into another lesson. Yes, my dear, it’s not over yet; and chances are the next phase of the curriculum is all about love.

LIBRA: Does it even matter what you think about what other people do? And why do you seem to be so identified with them and their choices when it’s your own life that you need to connect with? You are trying to figure out how to be in a relationship when every particle of your being wishes you had better things to do. The hard part about being in love is you have to hang in there when your partner turns into someone else altogether. Where this will go is anyone’s guess. It’s for sure that love survives anything — but the ego isn’t always able to handle its deeper lessons.

SCORPIO: You can’t take this too seriously. Instead of going nuts trying to get other people to see it your way, let it go and give them time to figure it out for themselves. If you’re wondering which way they’ll turn, does it have to matter that much? You’ve been around long enough to know that things work better when we have no investment in the outcome. At the same time you’ve been told that focused intentions can get you anything. Between the two, you’re about to learn that nothing works if it isn’t in our best interests. Relax and let life magnify your intent.

SAGITTARIUS: Oh boy! The web of complexity is so far out of hand it’ll be a miracle if you can get to the bottom of what’s really going on here. It seems to me that connections have been formed out of expedience or necessity. You know as well as I do that hooking up with people because you’re lonely, desperate or in need of a meal ticket doesn’t work over the long haul. Most of the stuff you’re processing now wouldn’t even be there if you had told the truth to begin with. Living with the consequences of your actions will require you to live with this for a while.

CAPRICORN: Now that you’ve managed to extricate yourself from the confusion that’s been driving you nuts you see that it all comes from other people and their stuff. You haven’t felt this free in a long time. Enjoy it while it lasts because your tendency to be the one to handle it all hasn’t gone away. If your current adventures see you enjoying yourself in a totally different set of circumstances use this time to get in touch with the things that have meaning — and whatever you do, don’t let anyone try to suck you into figuring out their problems for at least two months!

AQUARIUS: The best thing that ever happened doesn’t always look the way it appears in our dreams. Recent experiences got misinterpreted by your tendency to make them wrong; when in fact, whatever you did created a fantastic impression. Don’t sell anything that’s going on right now any shorter than you have to — least of all yourself. And don’t let one person’s opinion have too much to say about how you see yourself. Has it ever occurred to you that they might be wrong or that they’re deathly afraid you might wake up and realize how incredible you are?

PISCES: Don’t try to gloss this over with your usual rationale and stop pretending that you’re cool with it. If denial is what got you into this mess, what makes you think more of it will get you out of it? Being caught in a situation that requires even more from you than you’ve already given to it has you wondering if the best solution might be to split. Getting away from it all, at least long enough to think, will show you that you’ve told your version of the truth; now it’s time to let others deal with theirs, knowing that it’s no longer your job to walk them through it.

ARIES: You could make it easier on yourself if you could learn how to back off when things don’t seem to be working. The need to “make it happen” presses many of us to keep on trucking until we realize that life doesn’t work that way. Ease up a little. If you think your will has governance over other people and their choices you haven’t figured out that none of this is up to you. Forget about being in control. Disengage enough to allow every other factor in this equation to inform you that things will work better if you lighten up and stop taking yourself so seriously.

TAURUS: Don’t be naïve about people; your ideals only apply to you, believe it or not! Assuming that anyone approaches anything the way you do could create problems. You’re dealing with someone who doesn’t know enough about themselves to tell you the truth, let alone have a clue about where you’re coming from. Tread lightly. If you expect too much from this it’ll wind up disappointing you. Few of us know what we mean and even fewer mean what we say. Most of the time, it’s our tendency to take people at their word that gets us into trouble. 

GEMINI: You’re in a much better groove. All kinds of distractions have you flying around from one thing to another. As you make the rounds don’t forget to digest each experience. If all of this feels random it’s really here to teach you something. And right now what you need to learn is that it’s always safe to take the less traveled route. Making your way through a kaleidoscope of changes here, you stand gazing through the looking glass at an array of possibilities that weren’t there a year ago. Congratulations and best of luck getting on with your whole new life.

CANCER: Maybe it’s time for a change or a good reality check. You aren’t sure about things and you’re out of touch with yourself. Too many external pressures and obligations have taken you away from your truer goals. Up till now it’s been OK with you to hang around being a dutiful soul — but you’re clear that going too far down that road will see you selling your soul to whatever it is that keeps you duty bound. Any fool can see that it’s time for you to come back into yourself long enough to see if you still need to be the one who takes care of everything.

LEO: Something’s come full circle. In letting go you’re latching onto something else and even though they’re both connected, whatever this new turn is all about, it’s totally different than what was there before. At a time when you could have easily broken things off you’re very much here and with it on some level. In order to make it worth your while you’ll need to find a way to carve a new impression into the patterns that are already there. This will involve being more conscious of the way you treat people and of the extent to which you need to respect their needs too.

VIRGO: You don’t know if you’re coming or going. For someone who thrives on certainty not knowing where you stand can be hard. What you may not realize is that life is calling you to reinvent yourself. Yes, it’s time to take the best of what you’ve done so far and kick it up a notch; because you’re restless and the "what’s next?" switch got turned on a few months ago. Don’t try to keep anything the way it is. If this thought freaks you out, trust me — you can’t avoid the fact that you’ve got to come up with a new plan before the old one completely dies out.

LIBRA: How far are you willing to go? Do you think you can get there from here? Sometimes the problem is more easily solved when we leave the place where it left its mark. Letting things go and getting on with your life doesn’t have to be gut-wrenching, nor does it have to turn into a soap opera. You’re so caught up in your own story you forget that it isn’t who you are. How can you detach from this if you continue to swim in the fish bowl of small town gossip? Moving wouldn’t be a bad idea. Even a temporary change of scenery would help you brush this off.

SCORPIO: Don’t give yourself a hard time for not having a clue. By the time you figure out what you need to do it’ll be safer to go ahead with it. It looks to me like you’ve got a series of lessons to move through — either that or all the facts aren’t in — and while you may be well aware that you have to come up with a plan, if the internal structures are incomplete there’s no way you’ll have a firm sense of where to go with this. Other factors suggest that opposing forces are temporarily undermining your confidence, so wait it out. Time is on your side right now.

SAGITTARIUS: Glossing things over at a time when you are totally clear that more than a few things are messed up makes me wonder who you’re trying to kid? This could translate as being absolutely sure that you’re over something, when in fact it is alive and well in your cellular memory. Hiding from the truth and being unwilling to tell it are one and the same. You are about to open your eyes to the way things are. When you do you will find that the mess and the memories linger on only because your denial system keeps them from ever being resolved.

CAPRICORN: Knowing what you’re doing only comes from experience. If you’ve seen this before it should be easy for you. If it’s a whole new thing you’re probably wondering where your confidence went. Fortunately you are gifted with a clear eye and a great bullshit detector, so those of you who are going through this for the first time will know exactly what to do when the time comes. Don’t give yourself over to too much planning or get into over-preparing for things that will come off a lot better if you just do what comes naturally and let God cover the rest.

AQUARIUS: One good thing leads to another and sometimes we’re in a cycle where nothing can go wrong. If you feel like you’ve just opened up it’s because you’re more receptive to change than ever before. Those of you who feel compelled to resist what life is calling you to do are probably wishing that you could press the snooze button and escape into whatever you’re comfortable with. It’s too bad, because if you could just let go of even half of what you’re stuck on you’d soon find out that things go better when we allow ourselves to live dangerously.

PISCES: The way things go gives us pause to reflect on how one thing led to another. Eventually we figure out that they couldn’t have gone any other way. And no matter how it looks or feels to us, what we end up living with is the lesson. You aren’t too sure what the lesson is but you’re pretty clear about how you got here. Now it seems as if moving on will require you to sever ties with people and places that have come to mean the world to you. Returning to integrity always demands a leap of faith. It could be time to kiss everyone goodbye. 

ARIES: When you first got involved in this situation you didn’t know what you know now. As more of what’s really going on has been fully revealed, you realize that you bought into something that was not what it appeared to be. If it feels like it’s too late to pull out you’re going to need to sit down with whomever this concerns and rearrange your agreements. Don’t be shy about this. Make it clear to them that you are in no mood to roll over and play dead when it comes to your own needs and don’t let them talk you into being something that you’re not.

TAURUS: It’s time to regroup. Recent shifts in direction demand that you rearrange your best-laid plans. If you thought you would be free of this situation once and for all, guess again. Finding ways to make what’s been going on forever more interesting is always a challenge, but it will be less nuts once you realize that you can delegate most of what has been your job to those who have more of a feeling for it. While it’s true that a changing-of-the-guard would do much to improve things, it looks like you’ve got to stand watch until your reinforcements show up.

GEMINI: Before you get into this, think twice about playing the go-between, being the mediator or taking one side against the other; this isn’t your business. As much as you want to make everything OK for everyone, you need to see that your two cents will only confuse things that are confused enough as it is. Silence could be golden right now — and before you decide to distract yourself with other people and their problems ask yourself where your own life went. There’s a lot to say that you would be far better off if you paid more attention to your own affairs.

CANCER: It’s one thing to give people a little slack and quite another to see how far they take it. Extending credit and/or trust has put you in the position of being exploited on some level. If you’re in denial about this it’s because you’re making excuses for whoever’s ripping you off. Underneath the need to allow others to take advantage there’s a pile of old, psychological crap. Far be it from me to play analyst, but what do you think will happen if you draw the line? Don’t give yourself over to over-kindness. It only weakens others and it does even less for you.

LEO: The tide seems to be turning and the scenery is changing right along with it. You don’t know what’s going to happen from here on out but things are looking better for you. Some sort of opening has occurred and this has allowed you to break away from the need to hide out. For so long the focus has been inner, and your energy has gone mainly into your work — but new things have come up and you’ve got choices about what and/or who to get involved with. I would expect the next month to hold the promise of more fun and a tremendous amount of recognition.

VIRGO: You are totally in love with the way things are going. In the midst of change life seems to be working and so many things are being confirmed. When it gets like this, one always wonders when the worm will turn. If you know how life works, whatever happens when things fly south will be taken in stride. But if you’re one of those people who hasn’t figured out that this is a roller-coaster, you’ll be bummed out when things start to go down. Brace yourself. Learning how to enjoy the ride no matter where you’re at makes it easier to love life all of the time.

LIBRA: Your need for certainty has flown out the window. Life has given new meaning to the expression "flying by the seat of your pants.” Not knowing how things will turn out is about to give way to a greater sense of stability. If situations and people have kept you on your toes, the resolution of long-standing matters will put you in the position of being the one who was right all along. As things die down and you are no longer saddled with all of this pressure, all the energy you’ve spent trying to keep it together will be freed up to devote to more meaningful pursuits.

SCORPIO: Maybe you need to rethink this. The decision to stay or go could be turned into something else altogether if you could figure out what it is you really want. It looks to me like lines need to be drawn. You also need to make it clear that you’re unwilling to play games. If whoever’s on the receiving end can hear it, you might be surprised to find out that they’re willing to bend. Whatever the outcome, change is crawling out of the woodwork and you’re going to have to go for it regardless of whether or not others choose to grow along with you.

SAGITTARIUS: “Baby steps” is the best approach in this situation. Even if you want to waltz right in you don’t have the capacity to move freely and you are totally unfamiliar with the territory. In addition to that, whoever’s out there isn’t quite sure about you and they are even less sure about themselves. The last thing you need is to get hooked up with yet another loser who doesn’t know what’s going on. It’s OK to get acquainted, but as soon as you get a faint whiff of dishonesty or insecurity trust your instincts enough to know that you’d be better off elsewhere.

CAPRICORN: Out of the blue you’re beginning to see that whatever you’ve been searching for is right here in front of you. Too much pressing for the next big thing has lost its flavor and it’s a relief to be content with what you have. If what’s here is good enough for the moment, at some point you will begin to refine it. Recognizing yourself and accepting the fact that this is what you’ve chosen will lead you beyond contentment into a place where your relationships and your work become an alchemical laboratory where absolutely anything can be transmuted to gold.

AQUARIUS: Take advantage of this time to make changes and trust your intuition when it comes down to knowing what to do. You have more than your share of higher guidance so tap into that, too. There’s a lot to be said for the presence of angels. This is a milestone period so don’t discount anything that happens and be sure to live by the Golden Rule. If others are confused by your reliance on insight over logic, let them know that they needn’t feel threatened by your flashes of inspiration and would be better off if they could allow you to steer the way.

PISCES: You get confused when it comes to understanding why people can’t own up to things. Perplexed by someone else’s need to hide from the truth you’re wondering if you should bring it to their attention, but you can’t tell anyone what they don’t want to hear. Leave this alone and let time help them figure it out for themselves. As far as your relationship with them goes, maybe you need to detach. Because it will be impossible for you to connect or have any meaningful discourse until they are able to come to terms with their denial mechanisms. 

ARIES: You wouldn’t care so much if you didn’t know how much others have been through. If it’s hard to walk away from this it’s because sometimes that’s the way it goes. Don’t get too caught up in sentiment. Your ability to remain objective to what needs to be done will make it easier for you to see that this is what’s best for everyone. For too long your choices have been too heavily influenced by other people’s emotional immaturities. What you thought was the right thing has only weakened them; trust that in choosing to grow up you will help them, too.

TAURUS: Checking in to see if you’re on the right path it seems as if your greatest risk lies in overinflating your potential or in overestimating what other people are actually capable of. Hauling back and getting real about the times we’re in would do a lot to take the wind out of some of your big ideas. You’ve gone about as far as you can go with something. Finding a way to invigorate it with new life would work out better if you stopped going all out with a lot of slick, surface changes and just focused on making what you’ve got into what it was meant to be.

GEMINI: You’ve got your hands full trying to figure out how to get someone to see it your way. If their interests run contrary to yours, finding out where they’re coming from should be your first order of business. Instead of hinting around that you’d be happier if they dyed their hair blonde, why don’t you ask them why they like it black? The minute they feel that you’re willing to look at this out of their eyes they will be more open to seeing it from your point of view. In the end, the two of you will either agree to disagree or be free to turn this into a win-win situation.

CANCER: Don’t be too hard on yourself; you can’t be faulted for translating unconditional love into codependence. If there’s still an outside chance that this is worth it you will keep playing this role until others wake up and figure out how to take care of themselves. There are other things that make staying here imperative. Between your work and ties to the area, the best you can do is let nature take its course. I have a strong hunch that whoever can’t live up to your expectations, wants to. Trust that in time they will see that they too want more out of life.

LEO: Self discovery themes, including real or imaginary vision quests, seem to be a big part of the scenery right now. You’re trying to find your way out of the box and the only exit is out the door or over the top. More time in nature wouldn’t be a bad idea. It will be easier for you to get in touch with your answers far away from the rat race. Seminars and learning experiences that open your mind would also do a lot to stir the pot and bring you in touch with people who will take you beyond what at this point only serves to keep you asleep to all possibilities.

VIRGO: You can’t ignore what needs to be done, but none of it will get done if you’re out of touch with yourself; so how do you bridge the gap? There are times when life is about work and sleep. When things get like this, pouring your heart into whatever the task at hand involves has to be balanced with equal parts of self care. Keeping your sanity and keeping your nose to the grindstone aren’t that hard once you accept the fact that any extracurricular activities have to be put on hold — at least until you reach the point where the fruits of all your labor become ripe.

LIBRA: Maybe you’re crazy to get back into this but who knows what’s right for you? Life rarely matches our pictures, and contrary to what we’ve been told, Dr. Phil doesn’t have all the answers. Who’s to say that you aren’t making inroads into unmapped territory? If you’re willing to take this risk it means you’re open to the idea that your experience holds more truth than anything society has to say about it. Listen to your heart. Whatever it calls you to do is what’s right for you. Follow those instructions and let your experience take you to the next lesson. 

SCORPIO: You are torn between your sense of obligation and your need for independence. Others seem to be holding you back and it may be that you have to do something about that before you resign yourself to the fact that you might get stuck here. It’s all up to you, no matter how it looks. If you’re wondering how a radical move or change will impact someone else, think more about who you are and what you need right now. You didn’t come here to hide your light under a bushel. If others can’t allow it to shine there’s a good chance that you need to split.

SAGITTARIUS: Everything seems to be up in the air or confused by circumstances that are beyond your control. Not knowing what’s going on is easier to live with once you figure out how to be OK with more than your share of uncertainties. One thing at a time is the name of the game right now. Nothing is clear enough to see which direction things will take. In a way this gives you a great excuse to slow down and stay cool. If you can put a lid on your expectations and do whatever it takes to amp up the joy quotient, this could turn out to be a wonderful ride.

CAPRICORN: You’ve got the usual suspects hanging around driving you crazy. Along with that there appears to be a collision of opportunities that you either don’t have time for or that require an enormous expenditure of energy on your part. Who knows why it’s all happening at once, but here you are in the middle of it. You know what they say about the eye of the hurricane; that’s probably the only way you’ll be able to handle this. Do whatever it takes to stay centered and try to be amused by the fact that you might actually be the strongest person on the planet!

AQUARIUS: The last thing you needed was more delay. Getting anything done has been like hiking in deep water with cement boots. If you’re flipping out it’s because there’s so much on the line and very little time to get it handled properly. This happens to the best of us. When it does, all you can do is trust that the time you have has to be more than enough or the universe wouldn’t expect you to keep putting it off. Who knows? Two weeks of solid concentration and whatever you’re obsessing over could turn magically into further proof that you’re a genius!

PISCES: You could be wondering where the money went. This could also be about wondering where you went; because everything seems to be slipping away. Don’t be disturbed by any hint that you might be losing it. For some reason, times like these end up being what we love the most about our lives, but living through them is a totally different story. Paying the piper always involves big doses of self reflection. Instead of deluding yourself into thinking you’ll have your feet on the ground in a jiffy, give yourself a chance to heal your post-traumatic stress syndrome.

ARIES: You haven’t been 100 percent honest and others aren’t too happy about it. Deciding who’s right will turn this into one of those situations where you dredge up the past and take all the fun out of the present. Whatever this is about you’re dealing with someone who’s totally black and white about everything. Don’t expect your explanations to make a dent — but for your own sake, at least let them know that the last thing you wanted to do was hurt them. If they can hear that, ask them if they’re willing to drop the need to turn your misdemeanor into a federal case.

TAURUS: This isn’t what you thought it would be. You’re not so sure you want to get involved with people who are hellbent on turning everything around. Before you get too committed to this plan of theirs ask yourself if you want to hand what amounts to your life over to someone who doesn’t understand what it took to get here. If things don’t sit right with you there’s a reason for it. High pressure tactics, strategic ploys and polished demeanors are starting to make you feel uncomfortable. Don’t exclude any option that allows you to maintain your integrity here.

GEMINI: You haven’t felt this good in a long time. Things that used to interfere with your peace of mind have been replaced with a sense of balance. If this feels right to you it’s because it reflects things that are truer for you than what was there before. Everything is subject to change and this too is about to pass. In the process of moving closer to the truth we inevitably begin to carve out the deeper issues. Getting to the bottom of them is about to take you on a ride that will introduce you to portions of your spirit that you never knew were there. Enjoy the scenery!

CANCER: You can’t fix everything all at once. Just because you’ve seen the light it’ll be a while before it starts reflecting itself in your outer reality. For the moment, all you can do is trust the fact that the seeds for change have been planted and try to keep them watered. Don’t look for results or think that what results from this will be what you expect it to be. It’s not your job to know; you’re here to find out. Stay humble and fall in love with whatever the task at hand involves. It is through doing, but even more so by being, that you will heal and grow beyond this.

LEO: You seem to be at odds with yourself; either that or you’ve got a conflict brewing with someone else. Being aware of the extent to which you brought this on yourself, would you be able to stop the madness? You haven’t got time for this. Stop over-reflecting on your primary issues and bury the hatchet with whoever it is that’s got you going. You didn’t come here to referee your way through life. Toning down the head trips that keep all of that alive may require you to direct your thoughts more toward knowing who you are and what you’re here for.

VIRGO: You can’t keep up with the rate of change and you feel like you’re being swept along with the tide. If "out of control" defines it, you can take comfort in knowing that this state comes in many different flavors. Instead of clinging to the idea that you’ll have this all figured out someday you’d do better to realize that it’s bound to keep changing no matter what you do to try to make it perfect. Let go. Stop over-analyzing and/or trying to manage things that defy logic. At this point, staying on top of things has more to do with how good you are at letting 
them go.

LIBRA: You’re feeling like the scapegoat in a situation that has gotten complicated by things that you didn’t see coming. From a broader perspective there are other reasons why it would be good for you to relocate. SCORPIO: You’ve been nursing the same idea forever. What hasn’t come to pass may not have as much to do with your happiness as you think it does. There are fears that have you wondering how safe it is to change your approach in the middle of things and deeper concerns that make you think there has to be another way to get where you want to go. If anything, you have the right to change your mind. In doing so you could easily find yourself manifesting everything you ever dreamed of. This is no time to get picky about what you happen to find on the path to fulfillment.

Overly defensive responses to things that got way out of hand will come from multiple sources. You had enough on your mind before all this started. Having to be the one who seems to have caused it, the deeper question now is: where did it really come from? It seems to me that if everyone can be accountable for the part they played in bringing this on, then the blame that’s being cast on you will fade away before the seasons change.

ARIES: Too many things suggest that you’re throwing pearls before swine in a situation that keeps you stuck doing what you’ve always done. If it isn’t boring you to death it’s got to be making you wonder why you don’t think enough of yourself to branch out. For too long you’ve sold out to the highest bidder and in the process you’ve betrayed your highest ideals. At this point any decision you make has to be made from a place of knowing that you can no longer live with yourself and keep pretending that you came here to live a mediocre life.

TAURUS: You’ve got it made on so many levels it’s hard to see that much of what you’re doing needs to change. Complacency may be comfortable but it doesn’t loan any excitement to your life. Whatever you’ve achieved in terms of stability can be used to further things that could make a difference for you and for others. It’s time to reevaluate your purpose without needing to limit your sense of what’s possible for you at this stage of the game. As you sit back and ponder who you want to be when you grow up keep in mind that it’s never too late to start all over again.

GEMINI: You could back off a little and still bring enough pressure to bear on this situation to make your point. Driving a tack with a sledge hammer rarely works, and you need to use your energy for things that have more to do with your future than they do with the past. This business of needing to put someone in their place has worn out. Side issues that have to do with the fact that all of the above has shot you in the foot are making you wonder if it would be wiser to befriend your enemies. Matters of expedience would suggest that it’s time to forgive and forget.

CANCER: You can’t make people want to go along with you if all you do is criticize them for not being who you want them to be. A little reverse psychology would do more to wake them up than all of your preaching. You have every right to expect more from this situation and it would be in their best interests to stop wasting their potential. But nothing grows when you force it and I have a feeling a little acceptance would do more to get them to see that their behavior isn’t working for them either. Change will come when they realize they’ve got better things to do.

LEO: Your moods would be easier to take if you didn’t try to blame them on people, places and things. Whatever’s going on, you have to take responsibility for the fact that this is all your stuff. I can see why you’re bogged down with remorse over things that couldn’t be helped. What you need to keep in mind is that your perspective is narrowed down to a pinpoint and you’re dwelling on too much negativity to be able to see the forest for the trees. Nothing is what you make it and you won’t be free to enjoy life until you open your eyes to the fact that your attitude sucks.

VIRGO: No one can tell you where this will go. If you could step out of the situation you’d see that you’re in one of those cyclic changes that alter everything to the core. On the mundane level you’re feeling kind of lost and perhaps going through the motions of the daily routine like a sleepwalker who isn’t really there for it. Picture yourself idling at a four-way stop sign; time will tell you when it’s your turn to move and your intuition will tell you which direction to take. In the meantime, just keep the light on and let your heart guide your choices from here on out.

LIBRA: The idea that you’re the "easygoing" type has flown out the window. As much as you want to be OK with all of this, you’re burning up over it. While it’s easy to see why you’re so bent out of shape, it’s hard to believe that you of all people could be so petty; especially now, when life seems to be calling you to step out of the box. Don’t get too judgmental. At the same time, give yourself plenty of space to air your judgments — just long enough to see how much it doesn’t pay to be closed-minded when the lesson involves outgrowing every previous limit.

SCORPIO: You’re tired of yourself and you can’t figure out how to perform a makeover. There’s no need to think that the changes you so desperately long for won’t happen by themselves. Reinventing yourself doesn’t necessarily require a total overhaul. If you’re smart you’ll see that who you really are is closer to the surface than you think. With a few minor adjustments you could turn your life into a happier state of affairs. Much of this will involve simplifying your needs to the point where anything at all is more than enough for you.

SAGITTARIUS: You say one thing and do another or you think what you’re doing is something totally different than what it is. This is either rose colored glasses or a wall of denial that nothing can penetrate. Everyone who knows you sees it. And what no one can figure out is why it’s so hard for you to look at the truth. On so many levels you’re hipper than most, but when it comes to your own stuff you hide behind things that make it difficult for anyone to believe in you. Walking your talk is the key to everything right now. It’s time to see what you don’t want to see.

CAPRICORN: A lot of things are about to change and you’re either in touch with this or you’re wondering why nothing seems to be working. If you can detach enough to see this with a wide angle lens it will soon be apparent that the pins are getting pulled out of a situation that has outlived its purpose. Trying to maintain it in the form that it’s always taken isn’t going to work. Look back to where you were seven years ago; whatever your goals were, your experience has altered things enough for you to have to shift your sense of where you want to go from here.

AQUARIUS: You think you’ve made a major change when all you’ve really done is rearrange the furniture. No matter how you choose to see it you’re still running the same trips on people. Control issues and things that have to do with who’s bringing home the bacon have you playing all kinds of games with each other. If everyone involved could bring themselves to tell the truth chances are you wouldn’t even be here — and this may be why you keep doing what you do. Sooner or later you’ll have to face the fact that these games you play take all the fun out of life.

PISCES: Questions as to what to do now can’t be answered right away. In a state of transition it’s pointless to try to direct the flow or even know what it is. It must be obvious to you that much of the past is gone and the stepping stones that connect you to it are few and far between. With nothing but the unknown in front of you, there's no choice but to dive in and start swimming toward it. Don’t criticize yourself for losing your ground. Sometimes everything has to fall away for us to see who we are and get real enough to move on to the next thing.

 

ARIES: Getting used to a new way of doing things always requires a different attitude. What you thought would stay this way forever has turned out to be just a stage in a bigger pattern of development. Recent serendipities and multiple wake up calls keep begging you to read the writing on the wall. If and when it becomes obvious that you have to make a move don’t second guess your instincts. Too much is about to come down for you to think that holding steady will do anything to help you ride out what will inevitably take you far beyond every previous limit.

TAURUS: You can pride yourself on what you’ve learned but don’t assume that you know everything. If this epiphany opened you up to a whole new way of being, what you seem to forget is that one thing leads to another. Getting stuck in the preciousness of the experience, you hang tight to the first rung of the ladder and run the grave risk of missing a thousand other possibilities. When we make the choice to step out of the box it is the impulse to keep exploring that we need to nurture. Keep the search for truth alive — don’t ever assume that you’ve found it.

GEMINI: Playing both ends to the middle has kept you on your toes. At this point you’re beginning to see that you have to find a way to reconcile what appears to be a lack of harmony between people, places and/or things. Looking at the situation objectively, it’s pretty clear that everyone’s grown up enough to handle not just the truth, but your inexplicable need to protect them from it. You can’t keep running the same old story and you need to have more respect for everyone involved. As soon as you’re willing to get real with people this will heal itself.

CANCER: Maybe you knew where this would go and you let it happen because you couldn’t find the strength to say no. If that’s how it is, I wonder what you’re thinking about it now. Letting things fall apart and not stepping in when you had the chance to turn it all around has led to a state of affairs that is way more complicated than what would have happened if you’d spoken up. You’re too caught up in the lie to unravel it; at the same time, you’re freaking out about the fact that you have to live with the consequences of being too weak to make a stand.

LEO: The worst case scenario could force you to fall back on reserves of energy and wealth that you never thought you’d have to access. If that is the case, whatever you’re left with will surprise you into seeing that the bottom line is never the bottom line. Underneath what seems to be a difficult time the lesson has more to do with opening your eyes to what’s important. The uses of adversity are many. If your current state of affairs has you wringing your hands over things that are totally out of control try to find the blessing in it and expand your mind enough to see it.

VIRGO: You can’t keep growing if you continue to lie. Nothing heals from the outside in and your attempts to plaster make-up on the flaws in your reality do nothing but detract from your serenity. This is an inside job. If even part of you is willing to see that, you can also see that you can’t keep blaming others and you can’t keep blaming yourself. A little forgiveness goes a long way. By the time you read this, you will understand more about the need to forgive yourself enough to allow yourself to be OK with what happened in spite of you, not because of you.

LIBRA: You don’t need to know what’s going on or where it’s going; nothing is up to you right now. Pulling your fingers out of the machinery will require you to be OK with no certainty. The only way to get through a time like this is through intuition. Linear, logical approaches won’t necessarily prove useful. Making the most of an unprecedented experience, you’ll do better once you are willing to grasp the idea that you’re carving new ground. Your core beliefs aren’t going to get you too far at a time when all of them have to give way to what your heart needs to do.

SCORPIO: Maybe you’re done with this; it’s too soon to tell. I don’t see any need to make it more complicated by thinking too hard about your next move. Most things, when they’re over, die a natural death. What you don’t seem to see is that things can change in a heartbeat. And what you think will happen is about to be challenged by a series of events that will totally change your mind. The desire to call it quits is based on incomplete information. Hold on and come from the stance of "waiting to see which way things go" — because it’s all in flux; unpredictable. 

SAGITTARIUS: I don’t see why you don’t get it. This is one of those "here you go again" scenarios and you’re falling right into an old, familiar role. Who knows why you keep having to do this? Hopefully the mystery will unravel as you go. In the meantime, stay true to yourself. Even your idiosyncrasies have their place. As you embark on this partnership or alliance don’t give too much up to compromise and don’t project too much of the past onto it. Everything changes as we change and who knows? You just might be big enough to handle this situation.

CAPRICORN: You’ve been watching the signs long enough to figure out what the message is. Nothing has to be totally wrong for you to know that there are subtler reasons prompting you to either move or shift your focus. Larger issues are speaking to all of us at this point. If something calls you to be elsewhere there’s a reason for it; and if you’re thinking of throwing caution to the wind don’t talk yourself out of it. None of your plans matter more than your ability to look honestly at your experience and alter everything if need be, just to find out what you’re here for. 

AQUARIUS: The next few months will bring you to a place of recognition. If this is hard to believe it’s only because you haven’t lifted your head up from your work long enough to see how much you’ve accomplished. Finally being valued for the effort will come with an opportunity to make a move. It could also open up the possibility of a new relationship. Don’t let anything interfere with the things that come to pass, and don’t be surprised if others have a really hard time adjusting to the idea that your growth means they finally have to step up to the plate.

PISCES: You want to approach things from a totally truthful place but you’re dealing with people who are completely dishonest. Maybe it’s time to do what’s expedient. Knowing what you know, it would make more sense to get out of Dodge or at least let absence make the heart grow fonder. Things will blow over if your presence doesn’t keep reminding everyone of what you did. And while you may think that you need to stick around and keep an eye on this, it’s a tempest in a teapot and it’ll die down the minute everyone sees that there’s nothing to it.

ARIES: You used to be open to taking off but you’re not as adventurous these days. It’s too bad, because a total change of scenery would show you so much about why you’ve lost touch with yourself. In attempting to stabilize ourselves we run a grave risk of allowing life to crystallize into patterns that keep us from growing. You may be proud of yourself for what you’ve established, but after a while those things become a prison in which we carve out a false identity. Don’t chain yourself to this job, this place or the need to believe that taming yourself = success.

TAURUS: You’ve got another thing coming if you think you can get away with this. Others may not be too happy about it, and you may not be allowed to go forward until you find a way to do it for the right reasons. As it is, there’s too much regret, anger or bitterness affecting your choices. Nothing good comes out of things that are done to retaliate. We get even less mileage out of choices that are based on the ego’s need to feel important. Before you think any further about where your next project is headed you’ll need to do a good amount of soul searching.

GEMINI: Sometimes it’s best not to intervene. In this situation someone expects you to step in; as much as they’re counting on it they also need to figure this out for themselves. Not saying anything can be more powerful than words. Let them think this is their decision; and while you’re at it, get a life. Having your mind on other people and their affairs keeps you out of touch with yourself. The trick to really being able to help people involves staying true to our own lessons and embodying our own potential enough to give others a good reason to embody theirs.

CANCER: You go from going out of your way for people to being unwilling to do the slightest thing to please them. A sense of paranoia has your trust level totally out of commission. Some days you do and some days you don’t. If that’s the way it’s going you might want to ask yourself why it is that you can’t be 100 percent there for this. These things are always about us, so take a look in the mirror and think about what you’re here for. Your plans and motives could be based on things that have nothing to do with what is ultimately in the best interests of your higher self.

LEO: This would be easier if you didn’t make it so hard. The same goes for your friendships. You will begin to attract people who are good for you when you decide that you no longer wish to attract people who aren’t. What we don’t want in our lives disappears the minute we look at what’s going on and decide where we stand with it. Don’t sit around whining about how hard things are. Getting off on being a martyr is your choice. And when it comes to love and friendship, taking off your hair shirt would go a long way toward making people come closer.

VIRGO: Just when you thought things were going to slow down they’re speeding up again. You aren’t sure you’re ready for more, but you see that you can’t stop the momentum and you sense that there has to be a reason why all of this is up to you. You have good reasons to want to step out of the picture and focus on your own affairs; it’s been too much for too long and part of you is totally exhausted. The universe seems to be expecting you to carry on with the same level of integrity no matter what. If your second wind is anywhere in sight, breathe deep and take it now.

LIBRA: What seemed like the answer to all of your prayers just blew up in your face. The shock was one of those necessary things that happened just to get you out of Fairy Land into a more realistic sense of what’s really going on. What you aren’t too happy with looks like more truth than you could handle. Learn to live with it. And if you can find a way to translate it into something you can take total responsibility for, you will see that this is just the way it is. What came in the form of betrayal is in fact an opportunity for you to go deeper into love.

SCORPIO: You have mixed feelings about how things have turned out. If you’re totally honest, you have to say that you messed this up about nine months ago and you haven’t been the same since. It’s too bad you’re so stubborn. Something happened that made you feel like you have to be right about whatever went down and your unwillingness to admit that you made a mistake has been the source of all of your anguish. To insist that it’s someone else’s fault, or to continue to remain in denial about the part you played in creating your own problems, won’t solve this.

SAGITTARIUS: Too many issues call you to have to mind your P’s and Q’s. For someone who likes to have everything out in the open this is a total pain in the butt. You can’t say certain things in front of some people, and you can’t do certain things when you’re with others, and someone else expects you to only tell them what they want to hear. Between the endless half truths and everything that can’t be said, you are fed up with having to edit your behavior. The urge to blow a few minds and whistles is getting harder to ignore; it may be time to tell the truth.

CAPRICORN: You’re anxious about something that won’t even happen. If you could see around the corner you’d know that whatever you’re so worried about will be subject to some form of divine intervention. It’s quite possible that the whole thing will get called off. It could also be that things change to make all of it less of a hassle. Instead of getting all worked up over this, bring yourself back to a place of knowing that it’s not up to you to direct anything. You need to wake up and realize that what you’ve turned into a big deal is taking very good care of itself.

AQUARIUS: Money issues have made you forget that life has nothing to do with money. Your efforts to make ends meet have had you running between work and your creditors trying to figure it all out. Any meaning or fulfillment you get from it seems to be a moot point. You’re too young to be caught in this trap. To continue to believe that if you just work harder everything will be all right is a lie that puts you in the same category with millions of others who have applied that principle without seeing that in believing it they sentence themselves to death! Wake up!!

PISCES: You didn’t realize how much spilling the beans would affect people. If you’re wondering why everything’s nuts it’s because you opened the floodgates with your truth telling. When one thing changes, everything changes; that’s the way things go. If your confession was made from a place of wanting to make things right, what you didn’t take into account is that now everyone involved has to rearrange their thoughts and feelings to accommodate it. The fur is flying because you made it mandatory for everyone to come clean. No wonder they’re upset!

 

 

ARIES: You’re freaking out about the fact that you’re turning into your parents. It happens to the best of us at some point along the line. The fact that you’re aware of it is a good sign, so don’t lose hope. That being said, maybe it’s time to look at yourself. How is it that you’ve settled into a pattern that doesn’t suit you or your beliefs? These things happen invisibly. Waking up to the realization marks the point where it becomes possible to turn it around. Now that you see what you’ve done to yourself is there any way that you could make a decision to change it?

TAURUS: You’ve gotten into a situation that has you pitted against your early programming. If it looks like something else, it’s really about you and beliefs that were formed when you were too young to know what was really going on. Battling with whoever’s out there now, you don’t seem to get that whatever they aren’t willing to give you is something you never had to begin with. What you couldn’t get from mom and dad can’t be milked out of your current situation. In the end, the sense of safety and certainty you’re looking for can only be found within yourself.

GEMINI: Concerns about someone close have you wondering if you had anything to do with their pain. If you think this is your fault you’re crazy. Everyone has their own row to hoe and how they interpret their life experience is totally up to them. Whoever’s coming unglued has yet to see that they either expect too much or their expectations are irrelevant to the times we’re in. You can hold their hand and walk them through this but there is absolutely nothing you can do to alter the way they deal with it. Sometimes you have to sit back and let people learn their lessons.

CANCER: You’re running on faith that someone will be able to come through for you. If they do it’ll be because they care. On other levels it’ll be because they’re getting something out of this, too. What you need to remember is not to lose yourself in whatever their needs are. Both of you are making this investment. It doesn’t matter if it’s a project or a relationship. What you bring to the situation will reflect the extent to which you really care about it. What others decide to bring to it is uncertain; things will work out if both of you are conscious enough to give it your all.

LEO: Too many cooks make it imperative that you step out of the kitchen. None of this will take off with so many agendas operating at cross purposes. You may not like not having a say in how things go but it’s stupid to keep talking when no one’s listening. You’ll stand a better chance of getting your point across if you disengage and become conspicuous in your absence. Without your input others will come to the right conclusion of their own accord. If you don’t get credit for solving the problem you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing what really happened here.

VIRGO: With so much going on staying centered would seem difficult. Of late, you’ve had an easier time with multiple demands and emotional issues that make it all that much more intense. The last straw got reached a while back and it enlightened you to the fact that a sense of humor would greatly facilitate your ability to see what’s going on. You’ve come to the conclusion that it’s all subject to change and there’s no need to worry about where things stand from one day to the next. Congratulations, my friend; you finally figured out how not to sweat the small stuff. 

LIBRA: What you can no longer blame on others has to be seen in a different light. The habit of never being able to own up to the part you play in bringing things on has been a source of infinite difficulty. It has occurred to you that maybe something you did, or said, or projected unintentionally made it possible for others to take you for a ride in every situation where things didn’t go your way. This revelation could change everything. It’s quite possible that you will never let yourself wind up whining about who did what to who ever again.

SCORPIO: You can’t let yourself go crazy wondering what people are going to do next. You act like you’re in high school, for Pete’s sake. Playing cat-and-mouse games, or planning strategies that you hope will entice others to do your bidding won’t work to attract whatever you’re trying to manifest. A little honesty and some straightforward conversation is what’s needed here. But before you can do that you’ll need to get real about what you really want out of this. It isn’t what you think. Pull yourself together and get to the bottom of your true reason for being here.

SAGITTARIUS: You keep trying to gloss over what seems unpleasant. If this is working for you don’t expect it to do the trick too much longer. The end result of seeing what you want to see is always disillusionment and you’re barreling toward it half asleep. I would expect to see someone rising up and speaking for themselves about things that you don’t want to hear. Any reluctance to listen won’t change the fact that they are no longer under your control. Opening your eyes will involve giving up on the idea that you have the right to decide who they can be.

CAPRICORN: High maintenance people are screaming for attention at a time when you’ve got no energy for it. This most recent tantrum is nothing new but it looks like you’re going to have to stop the train just to handle it. It’s too bad you’re too deeply involved with this baby to tell them to grow up. I have a feeling you’re going to have to rearrange your schedule and make a lot of adjustments just to calm them down. Don’t waste too much time on it. It’s crazy to make this much space for someone who won’t meet you halfway and who never seems to change.

AQUARIUS: You aren’t ready to drop this but you’ve just about had it. Hanging on to someone or something because you think it might yield results on down the road rarely pans out. You’ve done your homework and seem to be ready to take things to the next level but you’re dealing with a situation that isn’t developed enough to match your expectations. Elements of narcissism are infecting things, too. Someone’s sensitivity is so heavily focused on themselves, they have no clue how to redirect their feelings toward you because at rock bottom, it’s all about them.

PISCES: Pushing your luck always comes at a time when it’s running out. You haven’t got any more tricks up your sleeve and you’re at a point where you’ve got nothing to lose. In a way, there’s something liberating about all of this because it’s given you the freedom to try anything. It’s also helped you to see that there’s always a way out. Keep the faith. At times when very little seems to exist within the realm of possibility, an opening occurs that allows other factors to enter in and serve as the saving grace or the solution to things that didn’t seem to have an answer.

ARIES: You’d be happier about this if it was your idea. You either want more or less than the one who’s calling the shots, but unfortunately you don’t have the power here. Sometimes it’s best to recognize that it serves us to acquiesce. In the end, you’ll get what you want or you’ll get more of what you already have. The need to be strategic can’t be overemphasized. For someone who has a hard time focusing on anything but them self, at times it’s wise to be more aware of other people’s issues than you are of your own, especially when so much depends on them.

TAURUS: You’re looking around at what you’ve created and it feels good to be the one who did it. The satisfaction that comes from never stepping out of integrity is virtue’s reward. For some, reaping what you’ve sown isn’t feeling that good. Hopefully this will open your eyes to what happens when you approach your life with only yourself in mind. If you’re honest you’ll know what I mean. All of you need to chill out and reconnect with what feels real to you at this moment. The past is gone, and as far as the future goes, that all depends on where you’re at now.

GEMINI: You’d just as soon skip out on this next affair; you’ve been there and done that so many times you really don’t need to stick around. Find someone to take care of your duties and disappear, because you’ll wind up handling the whole thing if you’re not careful. Your personal life has taken an interesting turn and that’s part of the reason you need a break. After doing a 180 in the love department, the whiplash of reality is making you wonder what you did. The one who looked like they could walk on water has turned into a human being; can you handle it?

CANCER: The person who’s driving you crazy needs to be crazy right now — as much as you want them to shape up, it is their turn to come unglued. Instead of seeing this as problematic, try to look at it as part of the cure. And if they don’t want you to hold their hand through this, it’s because it’s something they know only they can figure out. When and if they pull themselves together, they may be ready to deserve you — but you can’t bank on that. Uncertainty is tough. Learning how to live with it is part of life.

LEO: You aren’t obligated to anyone. Don’t be stupid. You’ve got security mixed up with the idea that having any means you have to become an indentured servant. And if this is one of those subconscious things where you’re trying to work out your parental trips — get over it, please. Turning yourself into a martyr doesn’t become you. And sooner or later the pressure of everyone else’s needs will squeeze you right out of the picture. Drop some of the "have to’s" in your life; it won’t be worth anything if you lose yourself to things that have nothing to do with you.

VIRGO: The willingness to hang in there is good for some things and bad for others. Don’t assume that standing by is always the answer, because everything is relative and persistence doesn’t always pay off. At this point you need to keep your foot in the door where you are as you venture out far enough to explore new territory. This is a transitional phase for you. On the threshold between the past and the future, the impulse to stay where we are is as strong as the desire to break through to the other side. Your heart knows what you’re ready for. Trust it.

LIBRA: With so much making you wish that something would come along to handle it for you, you’re in no mood to deal with pressure or change. That’s OK, but the longer you subject yourself to the demands of others the more you will see that you can’t keep doing it. If relationships are meant to be 50-50, how come your partner gets whatever they want and you get to go along with it? You can’t make this decision now. Too many variables are impacting this situation for you to even dream of knowing what to do. 

SCORPIO: The best thing that ever happened doesn’t always come with a fairy tale. The wise men tell us that all passion breeds suffering and you’re getting a little taste of how that feels. If you could have said "no" to this would you be any happier right now? When life starts teaching us the meaning of bittersweet, the bitterness overrides everything until we realize that it’s all the same. Taking the good with the bad is what it’s all about. You may not like the fact that beauty and the beast live side-by-side, but the sooner you learn to live with it the sweeter life will be.

SAGITTARIUS: It looks like you’re getting a breather and this is giving you time to organize your life. It’s also setting you free to see what’s important. You’ve always been one to follow your bliss and right now doing that will bring what’s really meaningful to you straight to your door. Any whim that you have, no matter how ridiculous it seems, holds the key to something much greater. When your intuition tells you that you need to go bowling, don’t second guess it. You just might meet up with the love of your life!

CAPRICORN: The role you’ve cast yourself in isn’t an easy one. Being the Rock of Gibraltar takes a lot out of you. At this stage in your life you need to look around and figure out what it will take to be there for yourself. That others expect so much from you has gotten to be a habitual thing, and it isn’t working anymore. Things will not fall apart if you start saying "no" once in a while. Your lessons involve learning how to enjoy things. This could be harder for you than being “the rock,” but it’ll be a lot more fun.

AQUARIUS: Going off the deep end isn’t the worst thing that can happen to a person. There’s nothing wrong with losing it — but then you’re left with the business of finding yourself again. You can’t stay where you are. And as far as going forward goes, you haven’t got a clue about what to do now. There is so much about yourself that you don’t understand — but you can begin by trying to unearth older skeletons that have haunted all of your behavior and most of your choices. Underneath it all you will find the real you.

PISCES: You are in a whirlwind of people who all seem to want something from you. At this point you can't tell who's for real and who isn't — and since you're such an openhearted person your tendency is to believe them all. Don't be too naïve. Some of these jokers aren't here for the right reasons. Anyone who's in too much of a rush to pin you down should be considered suspect. It may help you to remember that what you have to give is priceless. Giving it away will cost you dearly. Don't let anyone sell you short. 

ARIES: You wish you could find a way to make this more interesting but you’re fresh out of ideas. Life has settled into a pattern that’s beginning to get old and you’re just waking up to the fact that you’re either not into it, or the whole thing needs a makeover. This is always the way it goes. What no one ever tells us is that the perfect plan winds up being boring as hell. After all the effort you put into trying to do it right, here you sit wondering what the joke is. The joke is on us, my friend. Hopefully it’s not too late for you to begin living life on your own unique terms.

TAURUS: There’s a fine line between lying and not telling the whole truth. What you keep to yourself could fill a book. If you’ve got something to hide that’s your business, but once it starts affecting others you’ve got a problem. False impressions, white lies and complex scenarios that would seem to require a team of psychiatrists could get out of control if you don’t start filtering out some of the BS. Stop imagining the worst and get some of this off your chest. It will be easier on you if you let some of what you’re thinking and feeling find its way to the surface.

GEMINI: You’re getting paranoid about something that has nothing to do with what’s actually going on. Where did you get the idea that you’ve got anything to worry about? Rumors and assumptions have a way of contorting our thinking. And there are times when problems in the financial arena distort our perceptions enough to make everything look as if the glass is half empty. It might be time to look at how everything you imagine comes true and begin to realize that it would be just as easy to imagine something that isn’t colored by fear and lack.

CANCER: You’ve been making up for lost time or trying to make up for what you did or didn’t do. The decision to clean up the past begins as a simple and straightforward thing; until it meets up with the people and issues that it concerns. How others respond to our desire to make things right is rarely what we expect. You’re about to find out about the other side of the story. If it shocks you to hear the awful truth about how your choices have affected others consider it part of the deal and don’t be surprised if people resist your efforts to make amends for the past.

LEO: You aren’t so sure about anything anymore. What was once 100 percent clear seems to have lost its meaning, and you’re not sure what you want to replace it with. The business of being in limbo is hard until you realize that it’s a natural thing. Don’t get too involved cracking the whip or trying to be productive at a time when your spirit has no sense of what its purpose is. No one ever told us that it’s OK to not know what’s going on. Your confusion would be easier to deal with if you understood that every new development comes to life in the waters of chaos.

VIRGO: You can’t believe what’s gone down in the last few months. Whoever you gave too much rope to has gone all the way over the edge with it. Part of you knows that the fates will handle this; if you’re right about that I have no doubt that sooner or later whoever’s done you wrong will have to live with the consequences of their own actions.

LIBRA: No one knew how far this situation would go. You can’t blame others for what they didn’t fully understand. As much as it looks like this has nothing to do with you, there’s no way around it; you’re here, too. Rewinding back to the point where you made the decision to jump in no matter what the cost will do a lot to show you who got the ball rolling; what if you had said "no" instead of "yes?" You can’t change the past, but once you learn to live with it the present reshapes itself and it gives you the freedom to realize that it’s just what it took to get you here.

SCORPIO: You have been chasing the same illusion far too long. It seems a bit strange, given the fact that there’s no clear evidence that this dream of yours even exists. On one level you deserve a lot of respect for believing so strongly in it; but what isn’t there can’t be ignored. Instead of trying so hard to make this real, why don’t you take a look at what your experience is teaching you. It’s always the case that everything we search for is right in front of us. If you haven’t already, eventually you’ll begin to see that your happiness depends on loving what is.

SAGITTARIUS: Things weren’t supposed to turn out this way but here you are; and what doesn’t make sense took a long time to develop. At this point, things are too far along for you to have the luxury of wondering what the hell happened. While I understand your need to keep up with your sense of duty and responsibility, I can’t figure out why you let that take precedence over your own fulfillment.

AQUARIUS: There’s no way you’re going to change anyone’s mind, so give it up. Their way of thinking and feeling took years to develop and it’s based on the sum total of their experience. If you disagree with them, making them wrong won’t lead either one of you to a deeper understanding. Ultimately you both want the same thing, but your ways of approaching it are totally different. Instead of dwelling on the gap that separates you it might be better to lighten up enough to see that all either one of you wants out of this is what’s best for everyone.

PISCES: Wowie, zowie! You’ve got a lot of stuff going on. Between the full impact of major changes and a honey of a soap opera you can’t figure out how you got to be the one to have this experience. Riding it out will require you to drop all the BS and come up with a whole new definition for yourself. Not being who everyone thought you were feels uncomfortable only until you realize that even you didn’t know who that person was. And you gotta laugh because if it wasn’t for this recent series of disasters you wouldn’t have a clue about that or anything else.

ARIES: Life has been on the intense frequency and you’re not quite sure how to handle it. Your instincts work for you most of the time but lately you’ve had to deal with the side effects of too much faith in the wrong things. If the whole ball of wax is melting you’ve gotta stop wondering about it and look at what it’s telling you. Once you read the signs you may see that anything would be better than this. And if you’re one of the few who are enjoying the ride you’ve already figured out how to take the good with the bad and are making the most of this intensity.

TAURUS: You can’t do much about the way people think. Differences of opinion have raised questions about the right way to do things. If you really think you’re right about this, the only way you can change anyone’s mind is to get around it. Instead of insisting on your rights in this situation you’ll further your cause by finding out more about the way others see it. Coming to an agreement would serve you far more than engaging in any kind of conflict. Consider the benefits of peaceful cooperation and open up to the thought that two heads might be better than one.

GEMINI: You’re worried about the wrong thing. What other people do is their choice, so don’t try to control the direction things take. Fortunately for you, the fates have conspired to make this dream come true; on some level, it’s already written that there will be a reunion within a few months, or some positive resolution to things that have troubled you for quite a while. As others begin to awaken to their destiny, have you had any thoughts about your own? Insight into why you choose to be consumed by externals will reveal the extent to which it stunts your growth.

CANCER: You should have known better but it’s too late to wonder why you didn’t. Self analysis is good up to a point. I don’t blame you, because so much of what you’re involved in has an edge to it and things could explode before this turns into a supernova. Part of you is worried about hurting people and another part of you is more concerned with the truth. What you seem to forget is that sometimes the truth hurts. It’s not your job to babysit for other people’s emotional responses, especially now when their feelings seem to be at the heart of what’s holding things back.

LIBRA: You wonder why the phantom lover never seems to arrive or measure up. After all, you’re everything anyone could ever want. Underneath whatever you’ve done to make yourself perfect, there’s a wound that has never had the chance to heal. If you care enough to really look at it you will find that there’s a primary rejection piece that’s been there from the beginning. Could it be that the perfect relationship never materializes because it’s so hard to believe that you deserve to be loved? Are you ready to believe it; and would a radical move bring it about?

SCORPIO: Winding up in a fling that has no rhyme or reason to it could take many different forms. Depending on your nature, some of you could get into one of those "the Devil made me do it" situations; others could find themselves going overboard just for the hell of it. In a hundred years we’ll all be dead, so don’t spend too much time wondering whether to go for it. Some people say you only live once — and the ones who tell us we go around again and again understand that experience is the best teacher. If this feels right to you, jump on it.

SAGITTARIUS: Getting too big for your britches is always a pitfall. Getting stuck in pride about yourself, your capabilities, your connections or accomplishments offers important lessons in humility. Before you go too far with giving yourself more credit than you deserve, ask yourself if this is what it’s cracked up to be. When it comes to tooting your own horn, inwardly or outwardly, it’s best to be careful. In the long run, if whatever you’re selling really has merit it’ll get noticed. Instead of proclaiming yourself, focus on refining your dedication to your work.

CAPRICORN: It would be great if you didn’t have so much going on. The weight of responsibility always makes it harder for you. Anyone else could overlook some of this, but you couldn’t live with yourself if you did. Kids, work, pending deals and/or side issues that have to do with who’s taking care of who are all complicating things at a time when enough is enough. You haven’t got the energy or the inclination to deal with half of this, so cut down on your terminal need to be there for everything and focus on yourself and what you need for a change.

AQUARIUS: You’ve got a choice to make. It has to do with going along with the program or trusting yourself enough to find out what you really came here to do. Bucking the system is never easy, but when those things lose their meaning do you really have a choice? It makes no sense to go down the old and tired route because you’re afraid that if you don’t you won’t succeed or be fulfilled. The very act of staying inside the lines suggests that you don’t believe in anything enough to know that when life loses its meaning, you have to step out of line.

PISCES: Going deeper into the mystery has its good points. There’s something to be said for knowing more about the truth. At the same time, you’re wading through so much crap you can’t believe what you’re seeing about yourself. When the veil of illusion falls away, a lot of things disappear along with it. Whatever it costs you to let things go, know that nature hates a vacuum. The loss of whatever you thought you were is making room for your authentic self to shine through. Don’t resist any of this, and don’t be afraid of who you’re becoming.

 

ARIES: You haven’t seen anything yet. If someone keeps surprising you with their odd behavior, instead of wondering when it’s going to stop, you might do better to take it as a sign that they’re totally crazy! You don’t need this. And if you stick around just to make sure you don’t hurt them you’ll wind up in a codependent role that won’t serve either one of you. Waking up is as hard to do as breaking up, and while I understand what keeps you here, don’t let your inability to see things for what they are prohibit you from letting this go and moving on with your life.

TAURUS: You have your reasons for taking offense but don’t take it too far. Whoever’s giving you a hard time has plenty of justification for it. Instead of getting up in arms over things that involve your credibility you might do better to find some common ground. There’s no reason to fight and you’ll do yourself in if you spend too much time trying to prove them wrong. The old saying, "Keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer," has a lot of truth to it. In this situation your best defense might be to get over yourself and find a way to cooperate.

GEMINI: What’s right in front of you looks like a mountain of stuff that would throw anyone for a loop. You’re too busy looking beyond it to see that what you really need to do is anchor yourself long enough to complete things. Others don’t know what to make of you. If they keep testing you, don’t waste your time being anything but authentic and don’t worry about it if they act weird. You can’t waste your energy on other people’s side trips. There’s too much to deal with. If you really want to strengthen your future bring your attention to what’s here and now.

CANCER: Lots of competition and levels of third-party interference are making your world more volatile than usual. In case you didn’t notice, someone wants to be the chosen one. Whatever end of the triangle you stand on, underneath all the drama this is about older things. Disengage from the need to play into it and try to see what it is that makes you always need to have someone or something interfere with the smoothness of your involvements. Check out where mom and dad were at; their story could give you the key to this repetitious pattern.

LEO: You can’t be too sure about anything right now. Themes of dissolving seem to be everywhere. When everything that seemed real suddenly dissolves, the ego goes right along with it. Reconnecting the dots takes time. If you’re confused about anything, in the middle of an identity crisis, confusion would seem to be totally appropriate. Don’t even try to snap out of it. Sometimes the best MO is to let it all dissolve enough to expand beyond your known limits. Open yourself up to "not knowing" and consider coming unglued to be an initiation of sorts.

VIRGO: Things have gotten out of hand. No matter how it looks to you, it’s totally under control; besides, you aren’t the one who needs to be worrying. Too many other things are more important than whatever you think you owe to so-and-so. It’s OK to be vigilant about your motives but you got over questioning them a long time ago. At this point it looks like you’re in a position to correct the situation, so don’t start wimping out or giving people the benefit of the doubt. If you just stay true to yourself, this craziness will morph into something totally cool. 

LIBRA: The situation has changed and you’re beginning to understand why it just so happens to be you who’s stuck in it. We never know where we’ll end up. Here you are trying to figure out how to make the best of it, but it’s all you can do to find a way. There is a path out of here but you won’t find it if you aren’t totally clear that you’re 100% there for it. Down deep, a part of you may be thinking you can’t handle what life requires of you now. Don’t be afraid to acknowledge it. Nothing will move or improve until you look your demon straight in the eye.

SCORPIO: Nobody promised you anything. If you reflect back on all of this you weren’t paying attention. Expecting too much from people who don’t have the capacity to give it to you is like trying to get a Coke out of a coffee machine. What were you thinking? Whoever’s feeling the tail end of your disappointment didn’t know they were being set up. And what’s even more interesting is you are still of the mind that they let you down, when the truth is you wouldn’t know what to do if they measured up. This isn’t about them. It’s all your stuff. Think about that.

SAGITTARIUS: How far this will go is hard to say, but so far so good. Congratulations on manifesting something constructive for a change! You aren’t exactly sure what’ll happen next but you’re happy and whoever’s there with you is feeling pretty good about it, too. Enough has changed for both of you to know a little bit more about who you are. What seems more important than anything is a mutual need to move forward toward something lasting and permanent, without losing the spontaneity and freedom that comes from trusting the one you love.

CAPRICORN: You are torn by so many things and exhausted by them, too. Waking up and realizing that you can’t take care of everyone is a big item. Seeing this and recognizing that it’s time to pull away or at least change the way you do things is a good idea. Your love life is about to go through a major shift. Your heart is more open than usual. A deep willingness to accept whatever the conditions for relating are is bound to bring you into situations that teach you a great deal. Don’t question this. AQUARIUS: You keep doing the best you can. Even though you aren’t entirely sure what the deal is right now, you do understand that you can only pay attention to what’s in front of you. Things seem to be going well and every day there are signs that you’re on the right track. At this point in time all any of us can do is be in the moment. Property issues and questions about whether or not to sell out have been percolating. So much is making you wonder. If you live in the northeast, it may be a good idea to vamoose and head south or west to warmer climes.

PISCES: Take time to deal with the things you overlook. Minor repairs are bound to become major if you don’t tend to them now. Changing your mind regarding a move or other important shift has become an issue. Ignoring your intuition, hanging on or playing it safe will get you into a whole lot more trouble than anything uprooting your self could cause you. There are reasons why we get impulses to do certain things. If you see all this as some sort of whim, it would be better for you to understand that what we call impulse is always the spirit calling

 

ARIES: There’s some question about how long it will take to get out of this. It seems like you’re stuck in the same boat with people who don’t want to be there either. A broader perspective would show you that you’re just moving through a difficult time that is bringing out everyone’s worst fears. No one is at their best when they’re afraid, and it makes it very difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you don’t know where you’re going. Things will improve. In about three more months you will all be home free.

TAURUS: Major disconnections with people have been going on for so long that it seems as if no amount of communication will straighten things out. Faced with the arrival of someone you wish you didn’t have to talk to, you’re wondering where to begin. They happen to feel just as insecure as you do. The tendency to get defensive needs to be watched. None of this will be resolved if either one of you starts hitting below the belt. Brace yourself. For the time being, the best you can expect may be to agree to disagree.

GEMINI: You’re in a tense situation that requires you to exercise a lot of self-restraint. If that thought scares you it’s only because you haven’t figured out that you’re done with this.

LIBRA: What we think is in our best interests often isn’t. You keep doing this out of some sense of obligation and you’ve even fooled yourself into thinking that it makes you happy, but it has very little to do with what you really want. Living from the heart takes guts. It’s been so long since you listened to your instincts, getting in touch with what you need to do now will require you to deprogram most of your cherished beliefs. What if you could do what you want here? If you knew what that was you wouldn’t stick around.

SCORPIO: Everything is going faster than a speeding bullet and there’s no time to dwell on too much. It’s too bad because you’ve got more than your share of personal issues that need to be straightened out. The stress in the relationship area is making you question what you even need to be in one for. If there’s any third party interference, human or otherwise, it’s making it even harder to see what needs to be done. You may need to think about moving, too. With all this change, you can’t afford to overlook the obvious.

SAGITTARIUS: Things started moving a little more quickly than you thought they would and it’s caught you off guard. All of a sudden you’ve got opportunities galore where before you were wondering if you'd ever see another one. Get your act together because this isn’t going to stop. AQUARIUS: Having to play head games with intelligent people whose emotional intelligence puts them around three-years-old is one of the biggest crazy makers of all time. Whoever’s using their smarts to keep you in your place is operating out of a totally childish, terminally desperate part of their being and you’re buying into it. You can’t play this game. The next time they act up let them know you’re under no obligation to justify anything you do to them, or anyone else who can’t accept you as you are.

PISCES: If you’re feeling impatient, you might want to ask yourself why that is. It’s sheer arrogance to expect life to operate according to your schedule. And you can whine all you want about how you’re ready for a change, a new relationship or a new job, but none of that will happen until you see that if you were ready, those things would be there. What you seem to be missing is the deeper stuff. It isn’t out there — it’s in you. Instead of blaming life and cursing God for the way things are right now, try to see it as if it’s your creation.

 

ARIES: Maybe this will blow over without any input from you; who knows? I wouldn’t waste my time getting righteous about correcting other people’s behavior without taking a good look in the mirror first. Chances are, whatever you see in them will disappear the minute you see it in yourself. Other issues surround the way things are going at work. A lot of it has to do with all of the above; the rest of it is about whether or not you’re truly engaged, doing what you love. That question is a big one. The answer lies in your body; if you’re sick, it’s time for a reality check.

TAURUS: Certain things aren’t your fault. At the same time, you can’t ignore the fact that you created all of this. Instead of whining over how victimized you feel, maybe you ought to take a look at how you got here. You could turn all of this around with a good dose of honesty and some soul searching. If you choose to maintain your position there’s no guarantee that anyone’s going to stick around and help you hold down the fort. Crack open the vault and do your best to override pride, fear or whatever it is that keeps you from getting to the heart of the matter.

GEMINI: What won’t go away is a reflection of whatever you can’t let go of. It’s pretty obvious. And while you may be whining about the fact that you seem to be stuck with this, inwardly you’re totally afraid to release your grip. You know enough about cause and effect to see that all of this is the sum total of too much babysitting. And maybe it’s reached this extreme just to show you never to do it again. At the same time, you need to be just as wary of hopping into the high chair yourself. Trading one thing for another is part of this. In the end, it’s all about you.

CANCER: You’re freaking out over something. It won’t do to get too worked up. What is already out of control won’t respond to any amount of hysterics or action on your part. When things are too big for us there’s no sense trying to be heroic. If you feel the need to step in and make things right you need to know that life is always correcting itself. Getting your fingers into the machinery is never the answer. I advocate sitting back and watching all of this run its course. You’ll be amazed when life metes out its justice perfectly, without any input from you.

VIRGO: Recent conversations have opened up a floodgate of secrets that have lifted the lid on Pandora’s Box. You find yourself caught in the middle of things that you were avoiding like the plague. The last thing you want to do is get mixed up in this whole affair, but you’re beginning to see that you might have to. Whatever you do, don’t be the one to initiate things and make sure your motives are clear. It’s obvious that something needs to be done. If you hold off and observe what’s really going on here you will know exactly how to handle it when the time comes.

LIBRA: You have been tripping out on life in a different location. Literally or figuratively in another world, so much of what you thought you wanted to do is taking a sharp, 90-degree turn. This is all to the good; every epiphany creates an opening. And what you’re wondering right now is — where do you really want to be? Something kicked in about two weeks ago. You suddenly became aware that you’re not tied to this post and the visions that you had when you rooted yourself to the spot have evolved into something that requires you to give it all up.

SCORPIO: High pressure tactics take so many different forms. Not fond of the direct approach you’re an expert at subliminal strategy. In your current situation this could turn out to be a huge asset. And this thing that you’re not sure about is a byproduct of the fact that you’re not too sure about anything right now and are in an extremely gullible state.

PISCES: It’s time to decide. If you’re going to do this, how are you going to do it? Think ahead. Because what you’re itchy about now will get scratchier as time goes on, and if you wait to follow your truer desires you’ll go nuts. Settle up with people and situations. Consider living in two places at once. You could even hit the road right now if you wanted to because life seems to be all up in the air. For the first time you feel like you can finally be yourself. Many of you are so out of touch with what that means, this time period could see you acting out all kinds of stuff.

 

ARIES: It won’t do any good to say this but let’s give it a whirl — have you lost your mind? Somehow or other you’ve gotten into something that either involves too much risk, or not enough of it; either way you’ve got to be crazy to take it on. Going too far too fast will only lead to trouble. If you’re one of the ones who’s gone the opposite route you’re settling into something totally deadening. Why the hell do you want to nail yourself into a coffin? Snap out of it and get real. See if you can find the fine line between taking too many chances and none at all.  

TAURUS: Totalitarian measures rarely work. You don’t need to push your weight around here. People are all too familiar with your power issues and all of them know that the only way to survive is to tell you one thing and do another. Your little show would run a lot better if you understood that you came here to share power instead of hoard it. Give everyone in your life a long leash and let them run with it. That method of operation will work wonders to increase your power in a real way and it’ll make everyone you’re connected to that much stronger.

GEMINI: Whatever this is about, it’ll blow over before you know it. You’re obsessing about stuff that doesn’t even matter at a time when you really need to get your act together. More recent scenarios have entwined you in a little soap opera that is really none of your business. Don’t let the need to distract yourself with a lot of drama override the fact that the shit is hitting the fan on so many other levels. Bring your self down to Earth. Draw a few boundaries. You don’t have the capacity to save anyone but yourself and your own interests right now.

CANCER: You can’t figure out what to do about this. Someone is riding roughshod over your life and you can’t figure out whether to step in and call a halt to it or just keep letting them run their routine. Anyone can see that you should have opened your mouth way before this. Whatever you’re looking at now is the sum total of all the stuff you turned a blind eye to. If you’re wondering what to do about it, you need to face the fact that everything gets more complicated when we put it off. It’ll take some fancy footwork to turn things around.

LEO: You never cease to be amazed by what’s come out of the last year or so. Lots of people have come into your life and as many have left it. Things that seemed horrendous a while back have turned out to be incredible blessings in disguise. As you contemplate how things come and go and what it all means you’re beginning to see that your only job is to stay at the center of it. It’s almost as if all you have to do is just Be. This revelation might prompt you to slow down and really get into the spiritual side of things. Maybe it’s time to jump down that rabbit hole.

VIRGO: You’ve been through the mill and are probably wiped out from it all, but the heat is off at the energetic level. Don’t expect too much from yourself. Turn off the perfection switch and try to understand that you have to regroup. After a long period of feeling pulled apart by too many demands you need to come back to yourself and remember what gives you joy. Simple things are OK for now. Hang out with children and look at the sky. Don’t run yourself ragged at a time when the battery’s too drained to do anything but wait until it’s recharged.

LIBRA: Don’t let the way things are going fool you for a moment. None of this is as bad or as good as it looks. You can’t trust your senses and you definitely can’t apply logic to this situation, so that leaves you without a whole lot of clarity. It would be better for you if you could find a way to cut through to whatever’s most meaningful and essential. I say this because you’re approaching a time when a lot of dead wood has to be removed from your life. In order to know what to keep and what to let go of you have to get crystal clear about what really matters to you.

SCORPIO: Grinding your axe is a full time job. Did it ever occur to you that you could drop this and move on with your life? Too many things suggest that you’ve settled into a part of the past and keep rewinding back to the beginning of the same old story. It’s the definition of insanity to keep doing the same thing and expect to get different results. It also gets boring after a while, not just for you but for everyone who has to love you through every single rerun. Life isn’t about blaming it for what isn’t working for you. You’d be happier if you could just let this go.

SAGITTARIUS: Here we go again. Extending yourself one more time isn’t a bad thing. You know well enough that you’re co-depending with someone who is at a very weak point and you have no choice but to say yes. You will wind up having to live with things that really don’t appeal to you for as long as it takes them to pull themselves together. As long as you understand that it will do no good to waste your energy trying to convert anyone, or fix things that have been going on for far too long, you’ll be able to do this without going nuts.

CAPRICORN: It’s more than obvious that certain things need to be rearranged. What was simple has gotten complicated by an increase in external pressures that won’t go away. A little help wouldn’t be a bad idea, even if you have to hire someone; you just can’t do all of this by yourself. Too many things call you to bring your attention more to your career than to anything that ties you to your home. Balancing the inner and the outer is a simple matter of looking at what needs to get handled and finding a way to make it all work via remote control.

AQUARIUS: You are laughing at yourself for wondering if this was the right idea; look at what you’ve created! With nothing but a good sense of intuition you’ve been able to remove yourself from a situation just in the nick of time. If you’d waited even a day longer you’d be stuck with something that you couldn’t get out of. Now that you’re free and clear, do you wonder what made you see the light? What we call luck is really just the ability to trust your inner voice 100 percent of the time. You’ve seen what can be done. Keep listening to that voice; it’s never wrong.

PISCES: The most difficult part of any process always has emotional overtones. You’ve gotten through the worst of things; from here on out you’ll be dealing with how to trade one life for another. Extricating ourselves is usually better for everyone if we don’t rip off the band-aid all at once. I see you needing to keep a portion of the past alive, but only enough of it to allow you the time and freedom to delve into your newer passions. You’ve got to do a little more time here — but take heart — it won’t be long before you’ll find yourself in two places at once. 

 

 

ARIES: You have to be self aware enough to see that people may be telling you what you want to hear. Whatever their motives are, it doesn’t serve you. It would be great if someone would sit you down and tell it like it is, because you’re at a point where you need to be realistic about who you are and where you’re going. The cheerleaders who back you up no matter what you do want something from you. Smarten up. Try to figure out why everyone’s waiting in line to kiss your ass and stop making it so easy for them.   

TAURUS: You’re wondering where the support structures in your life are. What you’ve counted on to guide you or build security has turned out to be relatively useless. In your closest relationships people seem to be turning to you at a time when you’re craving that from them. Start taking care of your self and stop pandering to the things you think will give you what you need. Time alone spent getting to the bottom of older wounds will provide strength, clarity and the courage to create a different vision for the future.

GEMINI: You could have seen this coming. Things have come to an impasse and you have to choose between what appears to be a safe bet and what’s “behind the curtain.” Everyone is full of advice and they’re all pushing you to be practical. You’re not so sure. A few months ago someone told you that you’d have to relive the sense of failure you watched your father play out in his life if you weren’t willing to take more risks. If there’s any truth to that, now is the time to be considering other options more seriously.

CANCER: Everyone is looking to you for answers and you don’t have any! Being put on the spot is always a great opportunity to just tell the truth. If you don’t know what to say, or if you’ve gotten caught with your pants down, don’t try to hide it. Problems in relationships have gotten more complex due to a refusal to communicate. Hurt feelings will fly before the week is out. Totally misunderstanding people’s intentions will give you cause to have to go back and find out what they really meant when they   told you off.

LEO: Whatever your blocks are you’re clear that it’s no longer about you being a victim. If you’ve been trying to change someone it hasn’t worked, and it’s fallen upon you to realize that this is an inside job. You’ll have days where you feel awful and days where you feel pretty fantastic for the next few months. As things shift make sure you stay loose enough to ride each wave as it comes up. Your relationships are demanding you to stretch beyond your normal limits. Don’t be too invested in keeping anything the way it is.

VIRGO: Computer entanglements are a theme right now. You’re having a little “online” romance or there’s something going on with your e-mail that isn’t kosher. You have a really good chance to change things for people in a positive way as long as you don’t get too involved. Pulling back to maintain your own sanity will create space for others to figure things out for themselves. There is a strong rebellious vibe around. If you or someone else wants more freedom and less responsibility, don’t be afraid to go for it.

LIBRA: What you have to ask yourself now is can you go back to the good old days? There’s a lot to be said for growing up and accepting the fact that life has changed. Releasing old attachments could be the best thing for everyone, no matter how hard it feels. You’re at a gateway and it’s time to just bite the bullet and move forward into the future. It would be good for you to look at how your friendships and close ties really serve you. Start speaking your truth and whoever doesn’t belong here will disappear.

SCORPIO: You’re feeling surer about things that you were a little shaky about before. There’s no doubt in your mind where people stand. Keep in mind that things don’t have to make sense to be real and true. And what’s going on now is you’re just waiting for something to hatch. Don’t worry; it will. The vision you hold is clear. Between now and the time it comes to fruition you’re going to have to do a lot of babysitting. Others are having a harder time breaking through, and their issues are what’s standing in the way.

SAGITTARIUS: Things are going well. You’ve reached a balance of some kind and it’s giving you time to breathe. The money picture is OK, too. Whatever you were sweating a while ago isn’t a problem. Those who were causing so much trouble have done themselves in. If they haven’t, they will. You may need to focus more on your relationship and see where it is you need to go from here. Changes for the better come in many forms. It’s time to commit fully or finally let go if you want to move forward.

CAPRICORN: You’re in a pretty complicated situation. Making changes was easy to do. Now that you’re in the middle of a new set of circumstances you’re seeing that no matter what, you always end up playing the same role. People are expecting you to do more dirty work than you need to. It’s very important for you to stick up for yourself or draw the line somewhere. If you can make it clear that certain things are not your job you’ll get a lot more respect, and this will open people’s eyes to the fact that you’re no pushover.

AQUARIUS: You just paid some big dues and feel that somehow the coast is clear. The problem is that you’ve misled people, yet again, into believing that you’re what they want you to be. Why you keep playing these games is beyond me. All you’re really doing is staving off the inevitable. And in the meantime, you have to live with someone whose life depends on making sure you dance to their tune. There are a million questions you could ask yourself and the first one is: “What am I getting out of this and do I really need it?”

PISCES: Some of you are faced with people who are trying to weasel their way back into your life. Like a bad penny, they have turned up just to give you a chance to tell them where to go. Others are dealing with someone who has broken one of the Ten Commandments. Before you stone them to death, remember that the mortgage on your glass house isn’t paid off yet. Whichever one of these scenarios applies, the lesson is about righteousness. Sometimes it’s totally justified — but most of the time, it’s not.

 

ARIES: Your life is at a high water mark. Either that or you’re wondering where you need to go from here. You are blown away that things have come together in the way that they have. For those of you who are feeling good about yourselves it’s a matter of believing that all of this is actually real. The rest of you are looking at dropping the ball and starting over again somewhere else. It may be that you can’t continue to grow if you stay rooted to this spot. Whatever category you fall in, just be patient and watch things unfold.

TAURUS: You have been feeling lukewarm about a person or situation. You’re so busy comparing it to what you had before, you can’t see it for what it is. It would be good if you could do a reality check to remind yourself that your glory days are long gone and you’re in a much different phase now. Maybe things are toned down or less exciting because that’s what your soul needs. People have more to offer than you give them credit for. You won’t find out how good they are for you until you give them a chance.

GEMINI: You may be feeling a lack of love. Those who could be giving it to you are too distracted to offer you what you need. You have no clue about so many things and you’re being strongly affected by influences that you’re totally in the dark about. Fears of rejection are being reflected back to you. The relationship dynamic is tenuous. If you want to keep it from falling apart you’ll have to stop imagining the worst. If you can find time to get to the bottom of what’s bugging you, you’ll be able to avoid a major upset.

CANCER: Using indifference to cope with your feelings won’t make things easier. Pretending you don’t care is a stupid way to get attention! The fact that this is something you really want is hard to admit, even to yourself. It’s OK to wear your heart on your sleeve and more OK for people to know where you’re coming from. The whole idea of acting like it doesn’t matter which way things go is your way of hiding from what the truth might be. In the long run, you’ll be better off if you face whatever you’re afraid of.

LEO: No one seems to be paying attention to the things that feel important to you. And you’ve managed to alienate the one person who could do something to help. You think you know everything. It’s unfortunate because there is so much you haven’t taken into consideration. It would be good if you could open your mind and see that nothing will come of this if you don’t accept the fact that others have contributions to make that are greater than yours. When you figure out how to work together this will turn around.

VIRGO: Whatever you do, don’t put any stock in what seems to be the case right now. Everything is exactly the opposite of what it appears to be. You can’t expect to be treated well by people who aren’t in touch with themselves. And you’re at the mercy of someone who is wounded or too immature to behave like a human being. You can’t put a stop to their efforts to control you. All you can do is have compassion for them and go about your business. Offer no resistance. Your best defense will be to do nothing.

LIBRA: If you’re a bit confused, that’s OK. Getting into a whole new way of being with yourself is making you wonder about a lot of things. Whatever you’re doing right now, you have to come from a place of radical trust. Don’t hold back because you’re afraid of what might happen. After all, the worst-case scenario is that you’ll make one more mistake, and so what if you do? You’re learning something here. Don’t use the past as a guideline for anything and give yourself plenty of space for your heart to open.

SCORPIO: You’ve gotten in over your head and you know it. Lucky for you, you’re a good actor because no one else can see how insecure you’re feeling right now. Whenever things get like this all you can do is be real. There’s no sense pretending that you know what you’re doing. The situation is way different than anything you’ve done before. Even so, your experience from the past has provided you with enough information to handle anything. Don’t follow any particular set of rules, be yourself and you’ll be fine.

SAGITTARIUS: Timing is everything. And you’re biding your time, doing what’s expedient just to cover your ass or to insure that you will have what you’re really after in the long run. There are different forms of resistance making it seem as if you’ve made the wrong choice. Anyone who criticizes your behavior is just deathly afraid of what it says about them. Very few people are honest enough to look at themselves. You happen to be in the position of showing everyone around you what happens when you tell the truth.

CAPRICORN: You have been waiting for things to come through without knowing for sure what will happen. The last few weeks have shown you that there may be some light in this tunnel. Being hung up in a lot of red tape has created a state of suspended animation. Cutting ties with someone who once had a lot of power over you has been therapeutic. The truth is clear and you finally see it. If anyone has power in this situation, it’s you.

AQUARIUS: Don’t get overly confident about anything. Things could go either way. What happens now all depends on how truthful you’ve been with yourself and others. And if you think you’ve been successful at fooling anyone, you’re wrong. The Laws of Karma always have the upper hand. Being called away on business is a theme. So are court dates and famous final scenes. Whatever you need will come to you. That doesn’t mean you’re going to like it, but if you’ve been doing your homework you should be OK.

PISCES: You have been struggling with something and putting a lot of effort into pushing your weight against problems that would resolve themselves more quickly if you just lightened up. The tendency to feel like life is a battle and that it’s all up to you to win it is egotistical. At this point you have only to look inside because the answers won’t come if you continue to patch things together on the surface. Being truthful about what you need from your relationship would help. Something definitely needs to change there.

ARIES: The reason you’ve had it with this is because you can’t be yourself and keep it going. I don’t know what made you think it would work to play things this way but something went awry about six months ago and it got out of hand because you haven’t been paying attention. Unless you’re totally in denial you know that it’s time to tell the truth. If others don’t want to hear it you will have a harder time finding a way to make yourself heard. It looks to me like they are so hooked on believing what they want to believe they refuse to see that you’ve moved on.

TAURUS: Sometimes life allows us to remember what it’s really all about. In the midst of too many things to do and more than your share of pressure, someone showed up to remind you that love is the operative word. All of a sudden everything you see is filled with it. Times like this are precious and fleeting so soak it up and be prepared for everything else you do to be altered by this feeling. Of course, you have to hold steady and remain focused enough to stay grounded in the real world, but the love that you feel right now is there to make it all worthwhile.

GEMINI: There’s a sense of relief that the bigger part of an effort is over and done with. If you’ve just come off of one thing and are about to move on to another, getting a chance to regroup would be nice. Unfortunately, the need to keep it up will see you moving forward with less energy than you need to get this next thing to work. That’s OK. It could very well be that something intervenes to rearrange the plan. It could even be that everything gets called off temporarily. Relax, knowing that whatever you’ve got is just enough to make life perfect.

CANCER: If I’ve got a bone to pick with you it has to do with the fact that you’re too damn nice. What makes you think it’s good to give people too much space to act out? In not standing up for your own interests you consistently allow others to control absolutely everything. And what you can’t see is that their issues always win out over the truth! There’s no virtue in not having the balls to say "No," and you don’t serve yourself by being overly kind. None of this would be a problem if you could see that it makes no sense to give all your power away to a basket case.

LEO: The need to be recognized plays a huge part in your psychology. It’s interesting because you haven’t figured out that no one will recognize you until you recognize yourself. The greater part of being seen comes from knowing who you are. Things get complicated when we think anyone can do that for us. As soon as your true confidence begins to flower it won’t matter who’s there to applaud you for it. Ironically, the minute we begin to know who we are and what we’re worth, attention ceases to be an issue and, as if by magic, we begin to attract it by default.

VIRGO: What an amazing time. So many things have come home to roost. If you’re not reaping a tremendous amount of love and reward, you’re feeling fulfilled by simpler things. Those of you who can relate to this know that you’ve come full circle and are now ready to settle into something that really gets your heart going. If you’ve been spending more time being amazed by the beauty of life than you’ve spent wondering what it’s all for, you know that something truly miraculous is happening right now. In so many ways, you’ve never been happier.

LIBRA: You still don’t get it. You bought into something and went so far into believing it you can’t see that what you’re living with is the end result of misplaced faith. All of us are being called to examine our beliefs. When life isn’t working it’s usually our principles that screw up the machinery. If your beliefs don’t show any evidence of working to create the life that they were guaranteed to provide you with, maybe it’s time to shift your perspective. When doing everything by the book doesn’t get you anywhere, try coloring outside the lines.

SCORPIO: We all shoot ourselves in the foot every now and then. It’s only human. You said no to this because you couldn’t deal with what it would cost you to open up to it. The fear of confronting whatever it is that keeps us from opening our hearts lies at the core of every problem. When the irony of pushing away the very thing that you want more than anything finally strikes you, it would be good if you could take a chance and see if you can get a rain check on this opportunity. Think about it. Stuff like this doesn’t come around too often.

SAGITTARIUS: Too many things call you to review your motives. Why did you get into this? Underneath it all were you taking the easy way out? Or are you sure that you got involved for all the right reasons? When things aren’t working it’s a sure sign that something isn’t balanced on the inner levels. Instead of trying to manage a situation that was out of integrity from the get go, maybe it’s time to call a halt to it, or at least rearrange it from a place of total honesty. Nothing works when it’s standing on a weak foundation. If you can’t redeem things, they won’t continue.

CAPRICORN: You don’t need to know how this is going to come together. Any need for certainty will screw up your ability to handle a very complex state of affairs. At times like this, being prepared has more to do with not having too many plans because so much depends on time and the actions of other people. If your usual MO is to have it all figured out, the linear approach will do more to drive you nuts than just kicking back and letting the universe unravel the details for you. Other factors indicate that everything’s about to change, so loosen up and flow with it.

AQUARIUS: You can’t seem to get across to people. Some sort of disconnect makes it impossible for you to make yourself heard. There are times when the best we can do is agree to disagree. Too many issues separate you for either one of you to try to get your message through. Things are also complicated by the fact that each one of you is going through a private crisis that precludes any openness to others. A little distance might help, or at least enough space for you to sort out your problems and find your way back to what keeps you together.

PISCES: Recent changes in your tune have you willing to be more open about things. It could be that you’re exhausted from having to keep yourself under wraps. If others are shocked it’s only because they’ve watched you go from being hard to read to being completely up front about your life and your acceptance of your own power. Part of this involves relationship scenarios that were only difficult because you had to stay under the radar. Your signal’s back on and at this point you don’t even care who picks up on what, or what they think about it.

ARIES: You aren’t too happy with the way things turned out because you expected too much. This has been a huge lesson in giving people more credit than they deserve. If you’re disappointed, consider the extent to which you saw what you wanted to see and don’t be too hard on yourself. On other fronts, you need to review your work situation and realize that playing it safe doesn’t always work even in troubled times. The writing on the wall seems to suggest that there’s no safety here. Keep your foot in the door but have Plan B cooking just in case.

TAURUS: It may be too late but it would be good if you could look at what you’ve done and see you were in error. This is no time to be stubborn; if you need to make amends do so. It appears as if you allowed your issues to win out over the truth in this situation. All of us fall prey to this. Getting conscious enough to do the right thing even when it’s the last thing we want to do is one of the most difficult parts of being human. The problem now lies in the fact that you did the wrong thing and you knew better, and the karma police aren’t too happy about it.

GEMINI: You’ve got too much on your mind to worry about what anyone else is thinking. Besides, it really doesn’t matter anymore. You’ve either moved on or you just don’t have the time. If others have a problem with your inability to make them a priority they aren’t mature enough to handle this. It’s a total waste of time to even talk it over. If there’s anything really worth preserving it’ll maintain itself whether you make it OK for them or not. Holding your own in the midst of other people’s power plays takes a tremendous amount of self control.

CANCER: You can’t be sure this will work out the way you want it to. Don’t invest too much in anything or anyone who can’t take care of themselves. If your intention is to help people out, consider the extent to which much of what you’re doing has weakened them. More dependent on you than ever, how do you expect them to let this go when you tell them you’re ready to move on? What you didn’t factor into the equation could turn out to be the biggest booby trap of all time. Hello! You were nuts to think that others had any intention of growing up.

LEO: Giving your power away works out to be a huge mistake nine times out of ten. This is one of those times. Whoever you’re pumping your life into has yet to appreciate everything you’ve given them in terms of time, space and an infinite amount of moral and physical support. What has it gotten you? A little time away will give you a chance to see that maybe you don’t need this. If you keep sticking around you need to set boundaries for your own sake. Others will keep sucking you dry if you don’t have the sense to tell them to figure it out for themselves.

VIRGO: You aren’t sure what’s going on. Things are either too consistent or not consistent enough and you wish you had a handle on it. The craving for certainty and the desire for perfection don’t get a whole lot of satisfaction on a planet where neither thing exists. Don’t let your qualms fool you into thinking that this was a mistake. Stepping back from it all it’s easy to see that you’re at zero-point, in the middle of a major turnaround with no sense of direction, or sitting in a dead calm wondering if change really is the only thing that stays the same here.

LIBRA: Recent lessons haven’t made a dent, in spite of your desire to figure them out. With more than your share of change to contend with it seems as if life is forcing your hand. You keep trying to go along with the program but the old prescription is worn out and you’re having a hard time seeing that a new program has to replace what you’re trying so hard to hold together. Any change at all would be better than what you’re faced with. If there’s even an outside possibility that you could bail out, it might be a good idea to dream it up before things get more intense.

SCORPIO: You would have handled things differently if you knew your actions were going to blow this; it’s bumming you out that you’re no longer the sweetheart of the rodeo. Too much confidence can be just as destructive as not enough of it. The thing that did you in, in this most recent encounter, was your total lack of humility. Assuming authority, popularity, privilege or even love before you’ve earned the right to it rarely sits well with anyone. As far as that goes, you aren’t aware enough of who you are to see that it would have been enough just to be yourself.

For now, your energy needs to be spent getting your act together, or pulling your life together so that you can stand on your own two feet. Recent questions about where the money went, along with concerns over the possibility of a move, have you wondering if it’s time to sell out. That’s totally up to you. You have enough intuition to see the writing on the wall. Getting it together could easily require a 180-degree turn.

CAPRICORN: Your efforts to be prepared have gotten bollixed up by random forms of interference. With no time to steady your plans you find yourself torn between pressure to do a good job and the demands of close others who seem to need you more than anything. Too much to handle isn’t the phrase for it. If you’re worried about how you’re going to look when you show up without a script, you can trust the fact that everything that’s interfering with your prep work is actually part of it. Spend less time worrying and more time paying attention to the lesson.

AQUARIUS: You finally figured out how much it costs you to play both ends to the middle. Caught in between two separate issues or two separate people you’ve disappeared somehow. Coming to this realization you see that it’s time to make a choice. Part of you would be just as OK with dropping both balls as you would with trying to figure out what, or who means the most to you. Pisces: The pressures of the last six months have brought up every single one of your most difficult issues. In your efforts to bear this weight you’ve done everything you can to make it easier for others. Now that the light at the end of the tunnel appears to be shining on your choices you see that it’s safe to leave. More than anything, what you want right now is the freedom to pursue your heart’s desire. Nothing is left from your old life. And whatever you have to leave behind won’t be missed. The only thing left to do is make peace with the past and yourself.

ARIES: You just woke up to too many things all at once. When life dishes out one thing after another we go into shell-shock. Don’t expect yourself to know what to do next. Sort through the rubble and get in touch with what you’re dealing with before you even dream of making a plan. Right now the plan is about baby-steps – and it would help if you could resurrect a little faith. Because the key to pulling out of this has to do with seeing the blessing in it and believing with your whole heart that you are totally supported by life no matter how tough things get.

TAURUS: In the process of reinventing yourself you’ve found out that upheaval goes with the territory. When you decided to drop all the BS, what made you think there wouldn’t be an earthquake or two? Don’t get freaked out over things that have come about as a natural response to whatever your Karma consists of at this point. Once you stop driving yourself nuts you’ll calm down enough to see that at times like this, it’s your inner resources that pull you through. And part of the lesson has to do with you figuring out that absolutely everything comes from within.

GEMINI: If you haven’t made a stand yet, you’re about to. For too long you’ve put up with expectations that are too high or with behavior that borders on abuse – and the anger around this has reached critical mass. It’s not like you blow up or be anything but agreeable, but you’ve had it. If you’ve already spoken your mind, someone is busy figuring out how to return your serve. Give them time and expect their response to be in keeping with whatever they’re capable of. If you haven’t said boo yet, what’s keeping you? It’s time to draw the line.

CANCER: This could be the biggest milestone of your life. As you contemplate what it might feel like to step over the line, fears of how this will upset the applecart are equal to your desire to be who you are. Part of you wants a guarantee, or some sense of certainty that those close to you will be OK with this. I hate to clue you but there’s no certainty here; and the lesson seems to be about you figuring out that love is the response we get when we are true to ourselves – so you might as well follow your heart and stop worrying about what people will think.

LEO: You’d be OK with this if it wasn’t such a hassle. Getting around the details would be easier if you had a little help. Because what seemed like a small thing has become a big thing and you can’t do it alone. Get real about what needs to happen and prepare yourself for an increased demand for whatever it is you’re putting out. More training might be in order. You could also be called to teach. Think about everything else you have to do and understand that what’s going on right now is paving the way for the better part of your life to unfold.

VIRGO: You’re about to embark on something that is totally new and different. It has to happen because you’ve outgrown the past and the structures you’ve created just aren’t big enough to contain you anymore. If you’re freaked out about what might happen, get over it; this is no time to get skittish about the consequences. Crawl out of the phone booth and put on your Superman/Woman suit. For too long you’ve been hiding your light under a bushel. It’s an insult to you and to your purpose for being here for you to keep denying the truth of who you are.

LIBRA: You’d be happier about this if it was your idea. You either want more or less than the one who’s calling the shots, but unfortunately you don’t have the power here. Sometimes it’s best to recognize that it serves us to acquiesce. In the end, you’ll get what you want, or you’ll get more of what you already have. The need to be strategic can’t be overemphasized. For someone who has a hard time focusing on anything but themselves, at times it’s wise to be more aware of other people’s issues than you are of your own; especially when so much depends on them.

SCORPIO:  You’re looking around at what you’ve created and it feels good to be the one who did it. The satisfaction that comes from never stepping out of integrity is virtue’s reward. For some, reaping what you’ve sown isn’t feeling that good. Hopefully this will open your eyes to what happens when you approach your life with only yourself in mind. If you’re honest you’ll know what I mean. All of you need to chill out and reconnect with what feels real to you at this moment. The past is gone; and as far as the future goes, that all depends on where you’re at now.

SAGITTARIUS: You’d just as soon blow this off. You’ve been there and done that so many times you really don’t need to stick around. Find someone to take care of your duties and disappear, because you’ll wind up handling the whole thing if you’re not careful. Your personal life has taken an interesting turn and that’s part of the reason you need a break. After doing a 180 in the love department, the whiplash of reality is making you wonder what you did. The one who looked like they could walk on water has turned into a human being; can you handle it?

CAPRICORN: You keep trying to reach someone who can’t be reached. Everything is timing. There’s no way they can hear you when they’re overbooked, preoccupied, and/or depressed. It doesn’t matter what page you’re on or how much you want this to happen; whoever this is about just isn’t into it right now. Did it ever occur to you that they don’t want your input because they need to figure this out on their own? Too many things have gone down for you to think that talking to them, or being with them would help them at this point. Let them come to you.

AQUARIUS: You’re getting hassled by someone who’s too angry to deal with you honestly. This has been ongoing and it’s making your life difficult. I don’t know why you need to have someone out there playing the bad guy, but you might want to look at what you’re getting out if it. Instead of going into fear about whether they actually have the power to totally screw up your life, stop feeding into it. I hate to clue you but part of you is into this; because if they keep being mean, or cruel, or just plain koo-koo, you get to be the saint, the savior, or the one who can do no wrong.

PISCES: You’ve got to keep going at a time when your energy level is down. There isn’t much time or space for the emotional component either. When life gets like this it leads to exhaustion and it makes it real hard to stay in the ‘Joy Zone.’ Instead of pushing steadily along, try turning off the switch that keeps you going at intervals every day and use that time to do absolutely nothing. Life has to balance or it just doesn’t work. Too much “Yang” breaks you down. If you want to get through the next few months add equal parts of “Yin” to everything you do.

ARIES: With so much making you wish that something would come along to handle it for you, you’re in no mood to deal with pressure or change. That’s OK, but the longer you subject yourself to the demands of others the more you will see that you can’t keep doing it. If relationships are meant to be 50-50, how come your partner gets whatever they want and you get to go along with it? You can’t make this decision now. Too many variables are impacting this situation for you to even dream of knowing what to do. Give it six months; you’ll figure it out.

TAURUS: The best thing that ever happened doesn’t always come with a fairy tale. The wise men tell us that all passion breeds suffering and you’re getting a little taste of how that feels. If you could have said no to this would you be any happier right now? When life starts teaching us the meaning of bittersweet, the bitterness overrides everything until we realize that it’s all the same. Taking the good with the bad is what it’s all about. You may not like the fact that beauty and the beast live side-by-side but the sooner you learn to live with it the sweeter life will be.

GEMINI: You have an enormous amount of curiosity that takes you all over the place. It’s great to want to know everything but nothing sinks in if you don’t take the time to assimilate it. At this point you’re using too much of this information to justify behavior that makes it easier for you to fall asleep next to your primary issues. Your refusal to get the point is confusing to those who expect more from you than this. Stop using your self-help trips to rationalize your bigger denial mechanisms. I hate to clue you but people have had it with your nonsense.

CANCER: Whoa, baby! This is going a little too fast, either that or it’s too much too soon and you’re not ready. Don’t even try to run your life in the usual manner. You can’t be the one who’s there meeting everyone’s expectations. The ones who care expect nothing. You’re about to find out who your real friends are. Newer arrivals have been surprisingly supportive. You’ve got too much going on to waste a minute with anyone who can’t keep up with you. Say good bye to the hangers on; you’re about to fly – don’t let them weigh you down.

LEO: Things improve little by little. Don’t expect this to come together just because you’ve decided that it’s time. It borders on arrogance for you to assume that changes like this aren’t subject to forces that are beyond your control. Whatever you’re trying to manage isn’t what you think it is. Open your eyes to the idea that all of this is happening to redirect your spirit onto a whole new pathway. If you really believe that it’s your job to just keep plugging along, you might want to stop and think about what that particular strategy has gotten you so far.

VIRGO: You’ve wanted this for so long you’ve almost given up hope that it’ll ever happen. Believe it or not this is a good sign because the best things come to us when we stop looking for them. Whatever you’re waiting for it seems as if you’ve made the best use of your time while you’ve been sitting here wondering if what you really want is even worth the hope that it exists. Everything you’ve done reflects the impeccability of your spirit to such a degree that anyone would be a fool to pass you over. Keep the faith. This will come to you in its own good time.

LIBRA: You’re willing to do anything at this point. The need to be resourceful has you considering more than one option. Recent wake up calls, combined with a little too much emotional drama have even brought up the idea of moving. Before you get too focused on one solution versus another you need to clear up a few details. Those closest to you need to be told that whatever you’re willing to do could take you away for awhile. Some of you will find yourself working in two places at once. Get used to it. It’s the way things are going these days.

SCORPIO:  After all you’ve done for people you’d think they’d appreciate it. The voice that keeps telling you you’ve been taken advantage of hasn’t loaned any clarity to a situation that lets you play the victim. Part of getting shot down comes from being lined up in the sights to begin with. You begged for this, one way or another, through over-kindness or some private agenda. Whatever you get back from the ones who took the stick that you gave them and beat you with it will come in the form of a lesson that will hopefully teach you to stop doing this to yourself.

SAGITTARIUS: Ever since you went overboard things have gotten better. What does this tell you? Whatever it was that held your light under a bushel kept your entire life from taking off. If people are reacting to your seemingly sudden change of plans they haven’t seen anything yet. Keep trusting your intuition but don’t expect anyone to go along with you until it becomes more than clear that you may be crazy but you’re tuned in to something totally awesome. In the act of being yourself you have shown so many others that it’s the key to joy and fulfillment.

CAPRICORN: Don’t make such a big deal out of the idea that you might have to abandon things; get on with whatever’s next and stop trying to prove your point. If the company you keep keeps dredging up the past, or if you’re dealing with people who want more than you’ve got, what makes you think you need this? Aside from the fact that it’s boring you to tears, you’ve just woken up and realized that everything you want is vibrating on another frequency. There’s more to life than the same old story. Give it up. Trade it in. The minute you do you’ll feel alive again.

AQUARIUS: You aren’t obligated to anyone. Don’t be stupid. You’ve got security mixed up with the idea that having any means you have to become an indentured servant. If this is one of those subconscious things where you’re trying to work out your parental trips – get over it. Turning yourself into a martyr doesn’t become you. And sooner or later the pressure of everyone else’s needs will squeeze you right out of the picture. Drop some of the ‘have to’s’ in your life; it won’t be worth anything if you lose yourself to things that have nothing to do with you.

PISCES: The willingness to hang in there is good for some things and bad for others. Don’t assume that standing by anything is always the answer because everything is relative and persistence doesn’t always pay off. At this point you need to keep your foot in the door where you are as you venture out far enough to explore new territory. This is a transition phase for you. On the threshold between the past and the future the impulse to stay where we are is as strong as the desire to break through to the other side. Your heart knows what you’re ready for. Trust it.

ARIES:  The last thing you wanted to do was turn into your parents but it looks like you’re well on your way. How did this happen? Too much time spent trying to be normal has taken you away from your truer yearnings. There was a time when no one could accuse you of being ordinary; always the rebel, you made a point of coloring outside the lines. Whatever’s got you slipping into sleep mode may feel a lot more comfortable, but is this what you want? Giving up on the possibility of any further growth is a cop out. Get out of this rut and live your truth.

TAURUS: Whatever you think people are up to, there’s no need to get over defensive. If you could see this objectively, you would realize that you’ve made too many assumptions and most of them are false. Step back and ask yourself; how much of your own stuff is getting projected on to the situation? You can keep nursing the need to mistrust them but it’ll only undermine you. Believe it or not they’ve moved on to bigger and better things. Between that and their desire to take the high road, they have no interest in driving this rusty old nail any further into the coffin.

GEMINI: Big changes in the work sphere will force you to rethink more than your career goals. A little foresight is in order. Pull in the reins, stop scattering your attention, and look at where this is going. This could be a train wreck or a controlled demolition, depending on your ability to see the forest for the trees. When one thing changes, everything changes; this career shift will jostle every aspect of your life. If you’re too overbooked to check out the scenery don’t overlook it. And consider events that took place 7 years ago. They have everything to do with this.

CANCER: You’re crossing your fingers on more than one front. Waiting for things to go this way or that is one of those things we all go through. There may be different forms of circumstantial interference that you can’t do anything about, so it might be best if you kept your mind focused on what you can change. If you’re smart you know that everything starts to click when we get to the place where it doesn’t matter how it goes. In the end you’ll see that none of this is about you and that it is insane to have too much invested in anything right now.

LEO: Something’s changing but it’s not time yet. You either need a little more external support or you’re thinking you’d be better off canning everything you’ve built up and going for broke. It’d be easier for you to glide through this transition if you didn’t take the drastic approach. And unless you’re being guided by your inner truth, you’d be nuts to let your instincts get you into a deeper hole. Something’s going to come along and lift you out of this. It may be a relative but it’s more likely that it’s someone who just happens to notice that you’re a diamond in the rough.

VIRGO: Someone threw a monkey wrench into your world when they decided to re-enter it. Don’t let whatever you’re doing for old time’s sake make you feel obligated to keep it up. You need this way less than they do; in fact you graduated from their little training school about 5 years ago. Reworking the same program will only set you back and you know enough about them to not even bother with it. If you get into this at all, make sure you know what you’re doing. Nothing’s changed in them. It’s already clear that time hasn’t taught them anything.

LIBRA: Getting slammed with more than one thing at a time is the name of the game. You’re dealing with it on one level, but on another level it’s making you wonder what you’re here for. Don’t think you’re the only one asking that question. You will keep staving off disaster until you realize that whatever you’re trying so hard to hold together requires a new set of tactics. Think less about what you’re afraid of and more about how you want this to be. You have the ability to manage all of it but none of this will be easy until you start looking at it from a new perspective.

SCORPIO: This wall of denial cushions you from seeing anything clearly. You’ve got it all figured out on some level but you still haven’t gotten the picture. Your primary defenses tell you you’re a victim and in spite of your reputation as a control freak, you can’t seem to see that you brought all of this upon yourself. If you persist in avoiding the truth you’ll stay right where you are with it. The sooner you sit down and look at what really happened the easier it will be for you to get over yourself. Don’t deprive yourself of the chance to grow up and get it right next time.

SAGITTARIUS: You’ve gotten stuck in something; it’s a rut or a pattern that’s getting pretty tiresome. And it may just be that you’ve retreated into Never Land to fall asleep with your illusions. Whatever’s going on, the pressure to change it will come from outside if you don’t take it upon yourself to get real about the fact that something isn’t working. A lot of this has to do with the idea that you think you’ve got life all figured out. Don’t be too sure. Getting set in your ways is tantamount to nailing yourself into a coffin. Maybe that’s why you’re so tired of this.

CAPRICORN: Whatever was meant to be a break has turned out to be more of a chore than your normal routine. It’s laughable really; you couldn’t make things easy if you tried. At the same time, part of you is having the time of your life, because in the midst of a lot of confusion, some really good things are coming together. People who haven’t shown their face in years are back with a measure of support. Others are picking up their own slack for a change and even though you can’t see it, your life is opening up to whatever the next miracle is supposed to be.

AQUARIUS: The pressure to get totally honest about everything has you reviewing your connections from every possible angle. If you’ve been hanging in there with a pattern, a person, or a situation that’s still waiting for its ship to come in, how many times do you have to watch this movie? Your biggest fear has a lot to do with the idea that this is all you’ve got. What you fail to see is that all you’ve got is nothing compared to what it could be if you told the truth about it and allowed everyone else involved to tell theirs. Don’t be afraid to stick your neck out.

PISCES: Watching someone else go through a difficult process is like going through it yourself. This is a tough one and even though the bigger part of you is done with it, you’ve got no choice but to hang in until the healing is complete. By the time the seasons change you’ll be able to disconnect and move forward with plans that are already in your head. The stress of the last few years has shown you too much about what’s really important for you to want to stick around and uphold anything in your life that doesn’t reflect the newfound desire to be true to yourself.

ARIES: You’ve got it all figured out; guess again. The minute you start patting yourself on the back things have a way of flying south. Don’t be too sure that you’ve got someone right where you want them and don’t ever underestimate them or their stuff. What looks so good could be a costly compromise. Before you get too happy about how good this is going keep in mind that sometimes you have to be more aware of other people’s issues than they are. Don’t be so sure about who you’re really dealing with; what you see will definitely not be what you get

TAURUS: You may have to rework a few of your plans. What looked like it was going to go smoothly has turned into something else and you’ll make a huge mistake if you keep trying to get it to work. Instead of persisting, you’ll do a whole lot better if you take a different approach. You’re in a situation where you can’t graft what you want to set in motion onto what’s already in place, so think about taking whatever you’ve got and see if it will stand on its own. Using an old venue to kick off a new one makes absolutely no sense and it will do nothing to insure success.

GEMINI: You’ve turned a blind eye to whatever you don’t want to see and it’s going to become a problem if you don’t wake up. Little do you know how unhappy others have become. Their efforts to tell you how they feel haven’t been heard and at this point they’re ready to be done with this whole thing. Why is it that it’s so hard for you to see what is so obvious to so many others? All it would take to turn this into a positive thing is a willingness to hear people out. You can’t expect them to want to stick around if you’re unable to take their needs into account.

CANCER: You have managed to balance a very tenuous situation with a lot of diplomacy and a deftness at playing both ends to the middle. It’s been interesting how it has found its way to a resolution without turning into a scene. It’ll be a while before the warring parties can ever manage to be in the same room together so don’t go pushing for too much camaraderie, and don’t expect them to bury the hatchet just because they signed a treaty. Playing the mediator for a little while longer will require you to make it clear to everyone that you will not take sides.

LEO: What is going on in your head? It’s hard to figure out what the Hell you’re thinking these days. The one who used to be so wide-awake and positive is suddenly quiet and reserved. There’s nothing wrong with being contemplative, but after a certain point, it can become morose. Whatever’s bugging you, get it out in the open because you’re driving people nuts with this serious routine. Opening up will require you to unload a lot of judgments and just as many illusions. Once you start communicating you will discover that most of them are false.

VIRGO: Stressing out over things you can’t control isn’t worth it. The minute you stop dwelling on this it’ll fade away. You don’t seem to realize that whoever’s giving you a hard time will be stung by their own poison. Take the Zen approach; be like water and trust that there’s no need for you to do anything but liquefy and let this pass through you. Aside from that, you’ve got too many good things coming together for you to keep grinding this axe. All this is really about, is a chance for you to see that there’s no longer any point in clinging to things that drive you nuts.

LIBRA: Life’s vicissitudes come in all shapes and sizes. The one that’s hitting you hardest is one of those things that shouldn’t even be happening. This isn’t yours to process; and it will go better if you think less about it and consider the fears that have you believing that anyone could have this much power over you. I mean come on; the Big Bad Wolf isn’t going to get you, and unless they’re hooked up to an invisible power source, they’re totally impotent here. Relax and think more about your purpose for living. You didn’t come here to play a role in a soap opera.

SCORPIO: Keep dreaming. You’re stuck in a picture that you keep trying to paint up to be realistic at a time when your life is in fact totally surreal. What makes you think this thing you really and truly believe will happen is even relevant to the way things are? I hate to bust your bubble but step out of the box and get a grip on the fact that the '50s and the values that went along with them became obsolete by the time Elvis showed up. Do you really believe trying to institute "normal" could ever work? You’re not that person. Wake up and be who you are.

SAGITTARIUS: No one blames you for doing what you’re doing but that doesn’t mean they aren’t affected by it. Whatever you’ve taken upon yourself, the side effects on others have taken their toll. Before you dive into this whole hog, maybe there’s another way around it. You can’t assume that people let things like this roll off their backs the way you do. There has to be a way for everyone to get their needs met. Think about what you could do to adjust your plans to include the rights of others who may be too young or too insecure to tell you they’re not OK with this.

CAPRICORN: Here we go again; tell me this isn’t a rerun. Cross your fingers and pray that that was then and this is now because it didn’t go that well the last time. There’s always a purpose to these repetitive little scenarios. This one’s meant to show you how to not get too involved trying to make everything a bowl of cherries for everyone. When will you ever learn that it’s enough just to be yourself? You’re so overly concerned with making sure you’re always there for others you wind up deserting yourself in the process. Don’t do this time, what you did the last time.

AQUARIUS: Waiting to settle your affairs, you have no clue how anything will go. It may be best to hold off till others straighten out their confusion. Whoever said they were up for this either doesn’t have the capacity to follow through, or, they’re not sure enough about who they are to commit to this. You already know what you want but what you need could be something very different. "Don’t get too set on anything" is the message of the week. The less invested you are the easier it will be for you to see that you could be dead wrong about what’s best for you.

PISCES: The gypsy in you needs a transfusion. No one needs to tell you this, because you know it better than anyone. Too much overhead and responsibilities that you can’t walk away from make any sort of adventure out of the question. Until you divest yourself of whatever it is that keeps you from following your Spirit this will all stay the same. It’s very clear that you may have to give up everything to get out of here but when something else beckons, we have to heed the call. Dump anything that needs to fall off the wagon. Lighten up enough to spread your wings.

ARIES:  Too many people, too much going on, and no time for yourself has turned life into a bit of a zoo. You aren’t into this and you’d just as soon drop out for a while. At the moment your presence seems to be mandatory. Trying to do it all with a smile would be easier if your teeth weren’t clenched over some of the things that have come down lately. Projects that looked like they were worth the effort have been screwed up by people who didn’t have anyone’s best interests in mind. You’ve had it with trying to make sense of why you bothered to take it on.

TAURUS: You’re all geared up for something that means a lot to you. For the past several months getting ready for it has kept your mind off things that would be easier to swallow if you understood why they had to happen. The busy-ness of your current distraction will soon be gone and whatever you don’t want to think about is bound to start nagging at you. You’ve hung on to this for far too long. Don’t you think it’s time to get the whole story out in the open? Your version of it would make more sense if the other side of the equation wasn’t such a mystery.

GEMINI: Leaving for parts unknown has stirred up questions that you’re in no mood to answer. Being called on the carpet all because you just so happen to have a life is making you feel like a criminal. Under direct fire, or the victim of more passive-aggressive behavior, you’re starting to wonder why you put up with it. The only question you need to be asking yourself is: will others ever come around to your way of thinking? Give it a little more time. This could heal up easily once they begin to see that they have no reason to doubt your loyalty, or your love for them.

CANCER: Giving you a piece of my mind would take forever, so let’s get to the point; when will you learn that it doesn’t pay to cater to other people and their little power trips. This one’s so convoluted it’s hard for you to find your way out of a situation that has codependent written all over it. You won’t be able to get on with your own life if your keep hanging around trying to help someone else hold you down. Nothing you do will turn what is their problem into a miracle. Before you can extract yourself from this web you’ll have to face the fact that this is killing you.

LEO: Don’t be too sure about other people and their good intentions. From what I can see you’re being used; either that or you’re getting your Ph.D. in gullibility. Why you always get hooked up with these types is one of the questions of the ages, but you’re beginning to see that it keeps you from developing yourself to the fullest. If this hasn’t taken off yet, do yourself a favor and detach from it. If it’s been going on for a long time you have a different set of issues. In situations like this it inevitably takes as long to get out of it as it did for you to realize that you need to leave.

VIRGO: The scenery has been changed by life or by recent experiences that have changed you. Nothing is the same. Armed with a new perspective, for the first time in a long time you’re not concerned with where anything goes; you’re more interested in figuring out where you’re going. As time continues to redirect you, be open to the idea that you’re renovating or expanding a life that was out of alignment with the person who was living it. The way things are now, you’ll be a lot freer to connect with yourself in a way that allows you to feel like you have a purpose.

LIBRA: Petty gossip is more fun when you’re not the center of it. The topic of more than one conversation, it’s too bad no one really knows what’s going on, and even less about whether or not you play into it. You’ve got your reasons for keeping silent. Jumping in to defend yourself will only make things worse. Situations like this require us to let people think what they want and refrain from over exposing ourselves to their judgments. You’ve definitely got the soap opera of the century going on but there’s nothing about it that warrants this much speculation.

SCORPIO:  Before this will go the way you want it to you’re going to have to make a few compromises. Whether you can or not is the question. It’s always this way when you’re dealing with other people. Set in your ways, you have no desire to change and you’re probably finding it difficult to understand why anyone expects you to. At the same time, part of you wants to reach out and be the person who knows how to give everything they have to people and situations. If you really and truly want this, stretch your mind and lose the need to have it all be your way.

SAGITTARIUS: The self righteous fanatic in you is lit up like a flame and you’re on a campaign of some sort. Your principles have gotten so intense you’re not just standing on them; you’re stomping and screaming. Lighten up a little bit. Nothing means this much and if you think you’re right about it, everything’s relative. The less you try to impose your will or your beliefs on other people the more they will respect you and the easier it will be to set up a dialogue. As it is now, you’re so over the top, how could they possibly be open to anything you have to say?

CAPRICORN: Taking the good with the bad is where it’s at right now. If you can’t figure out how to do that you’ll wind up missing the lesson. There are as many reasons to be psyched about this as there are to be freaked out by it. Make whatever you want of this. The good part seems to be giving you more recognition; the bad part looks like it’s about having to tolerate people who drive you nuts. When you start to get this much notice, putting up with idiots is part of the deal. You’ll have to find a way around your judgments if you want to enjoy your ride to the top.

AQUARIUS: You’re driving a tack with a sledgehammer. The need to lighten up and let go can’t be overemphasized. None of this matters as much as you think it does. If you could take your mind off what you thought was supposed to happen and get behind the idea that pretty much everything is out of your hands it would be easier for you to get what you want out of this.

PISCES: Things have settled into a more comfortable arrangement. Nothing’s the way it used to be and you’re still adjusting to some of the changes that have come down lately, but all in all what could have been a total disaster has turned out for the best. There will be a period of waiting before you figure out where to go from here, but it looks like someone’s putting a bug in your head to hit the road. Consider it as a viable option. In so many ways you’re done with whatever’s happened up till now and have nothing to lose by taking off and starting over again.

ARIES: You have to continue to hold steady in the midst of a tremendous amount of stress. Bailing out may be an option but consider it well before you close things down. Underneath it all there’s a lesson in this. What you have to ask yourself is; what was going on 3 years ago? It has a lot of bearing on what’s happening right now. Your choices back then had a motive that was either clean, or it wasn’t. The upshot of time and the dictates of Karma suggest that your current dilemma would be easier to sort out if you didn’t try to pile one mistake on top of another.

TAURUS: You can go ahead with this because there’s no way anyone’s going to talk you out of it; you might want to check in with yourself one more time before you do. Signs point to ‘no’ but you’re more concerned about settling scores than you are with walking your talk. You know better than anyone that if there’s even an atom of mean-spiritedness underlying any of your choices, it all comes back to haunt you. As hard as it is to come clean about your true motivations, pretending that they’re something else will teach you an even harder lesson.

GEMINI: To find the light in any conflicting situations, you have to weigh the importance on a relative scale. Most of what we find difficult is that way because we dwell on that aspect of it. Everything in life has its hard side. You may be overwhelmed by things that are not under your control but you can’t let yourself lose faith in the possibility that there’s a reason for it. This is just a matter of getting the lesson. You understand the power of joy. It would be just as easy to get joyful at the thought that underneath all this madness the seeds of your future are growing.

CANCER: You figured out how to keep things from boiling over. Thank God. This would have gotten crazy if you didn’t step in and play mediator. Good advice is rarely taken but this is a case where your wisdom made a dent. The upshot of it all is that others have agreed to disagree. Once in a while things settle up in a way that allows everyone to get what they need from it. It’s too bad you don’t get paid for this. Which brings up another thing; you’ve got to find a way to take what you’re good at and parlay it into something that works as well for you as it does for others.

LEO: Things couldn’t be better. You did the right thing, made the right choice, or are now on a path to something different. If you were wondering whether or not your judgment was clear, something worked out in a way that has made everything easier, all the way around. Now that you know it’s safe to go ahead, part of you is wondering what you were thinking. It’s always this way when we get what we want. Don’t question the validity of things that are here because you asked for it. You can do this. It’s just a matter of stepping into a bigger pair of shoes.

VIRGO: A narrow escape from an old pattern, situation, or rival has shown you how stupid it is to hold on to things that are totally over. Something just woke up and let it go in a way that will allow it to heal, instead of creating more heartache, chaos, or animosity. You can’t even figure out how it happened, because this thing has been bugging you for a long time. Like so many of us, it seems to me that you’re beaming up to something better. You’re beginning to see that nothing good comes from taking the low road, no matter how much life tempts us to go there.

LIBRA: What an amazing time. You snapped out of it long enough to see that it definitely is, as good as it looks. Not having any experience with this much perfection, you’re a little confused as to what to do next. That’s OK. There isn’t any template for things like this. Underneath all of the stuff that is totally blowing your mind, you have yet to accept the fact that life will never look normal again. Surrender to this and feel safe knowing that you’re being called to start living your dream instead of searching for it. Get with the program. Open your heart and get into it.

SCORPIO:  You can’t stay in the background when life calls you to take charge of a situation. The subtle approach, or the belief that it’ll all go away if you let someone else handle it isn’t going to work for you this time. The last thing you want to do is step out and be the grown up, but you’re the only one who knows what’s going on and your conscience is screaming at you to deal with it. Anyone who accuses you of being bossy, and anyone who thinks you’re getting off on this should be reminded that no one knows more about how to get this to work than you do.

SAGITTARIUS: You may not like what’s going on but you can no longer escape the fact that it’s happening. Finding a way to get around various forms of emotional intensity it’s easier to bury it in work, or exercise, or any other addiction than it is to check out what drives us to distraction. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you’re on top of the situation. Some things rattle us to the core because they’re meant to. If this calls you to reevaluate everything start looking at it now. The more willing you are to get over yourself the better this will go.

CAPRICORN: Patterns that have less to do with this life than they do with others are raking you through an experience that is almost surreal. If you feel like you’re in the Twilight Zone it’s because you’re paying off a big chunk of dues all at once. The changes that are making you wonder why everything’s coming down with no let up are happening to get you off your butt and on with your life. If most people shirk responsibility, you have a tendency to use it as an excuse to avoid the inevitable. Dropping out for a while would help you clarify your perspective.

AQUARIUS: You’re off on a weird little adventure that could be more of a detour. Too much has changed and you’ve had so little backup, you’ve decided to get out of Dodge in order to figure out what to do next. It almost doesn’t matter at this point. Whatever you’ve got going on your biggest hang up isn’t what you think it is. Before you get sick of your escape from harsher realities you’ll have to find out the hard way that there are certain things you can’t run away from. Enjoy this side trip but in the end you’ll have to come back and deal with yourself.

PISCES: Once you get out of the box it’s easier to imagine how far you could go. What you thought would shake everything down has opened up new and bigger possibilities. With nothing to keep you from moving forward you are feeling even more of a desire to finally release everything that weighs you down. If you thought your life wasn’t going to change you’re beginning to see that none of this would have come about if you were still locked into the game you were playing before. Kiss it goodbye. Don’t let anything pull you back into it.

ARIES: You have been having trouble trying to figure out how to deal with someone who has a very short fuse. So far your decision to tell it like it is has added more fuel to the fire. In respecting yourself enough to take that risk you have shown this individual that you aren’t as stupid as they thought. And it may be that they finally open up and turn out to be much easier to relate to. If you can keep your own idea of truth clear, they will be able to see what theirs is, and over time your seeming disagreements will fade from view.

TAURUS: What you choose to see is a far cry from what’s in front of you. If anyone told you the truth you wouldn’t be able to hear it. This has been going on for far too long and if you keep it up it will undermine everything you are trying to accomplish. There is an easier way to go about things. A little less complication and more of an ability to keep it simple would help. The fact that you keep trying to lay your trips on people who don’t see it your way is screwing things up. The sooner you see this, the better.

GEMINI: You are having a hard time believing that people are capable of this much self-deception and dishonesty. As you try to figure out why, what’s harder to believe is that you got sucked in by it. Instead of putting yourself down, keep in mind that none of this would be happening if you weren’t so idealistic about human nature. There’s nothing wrong with having faith in people, but it has to be balanced with equal parts of realism. Now that you know what others are capable of, save your trust for those who deserve it.

CANCER: Accepting the things that you don’t have the power to change has made you stronger. Part of you hates the idea that this is the way it is, but you’re learning to live with it. One particular person is driving you nuts and their issues have caused you to rearrange your perceptions of right and wrong. Their behavior isn’t your responsibility. As far as that goes all you can do is let it go and trust that their lessons are different than yours. If they’re falling apart it may be because that’s the only way they can learn them.

LEO: It isn’t important to agree with everyone as long as you can communicate well enough to settle your differences. You’ll be surprised by someone who comes along to teach you a major life lesson. They will show up disguised as an idiot. Keep looking at the way you approach the whole idea of love. Hearts and flowers are easy; anyone can do that. Now that you’ve gotten into deeper water with your partner things are getting harder to wade through. Love hides itself in the rough spots so keep looking and you’ll find it.

VIRGO: You’ve taken some giant steps forward. You will know more about what you need to be doing in a month or so, so don’t get nervous about what all this means. There is a leap of faith required now and you need to make a choice. Following the well-carved route is one option. Up until now you assumed that that would be the best plan. Lately you’ve realized that it doesn’t matter and that maybe you just need to follow your intuition toward your goals; not a bad idea. Pay attention to the signs. The answers will come.

LIBRA: You’ve been missing in action and everyone’s wondering where you went. It’s funny how people only miss you when you’re not around. Maintain your distance for a little while longer. There’s no sense rushing back into anything if you’re not sure whether or not you’ll be received with open arms. There are other things going on that make you feel as if you need to do something about them. In this situation you’ll be way better off if you let others make the first move. That way you’ll be certain that they actually want this.

SCORPIO:  All of a sudden whoever you were trying to shake off has distanced themselves. Now that they could care less, you seem to care more. Questioning your choices, you’re wondering if you were hasty when you told them to get lost. It’s too late to change this, so if you’re thinking of ways to reel them back in, forget about it. You will have to live with the consequences of your actions whether you like it or not. Sobered by this realization it’s got you thinking more seriously, and realistically, about yourself.

SAGITTARIUS: You are between phases, trying to figure out how to let go of something so that you can get on with what appears to be a whole new thing. If it seems strange to you to be stepping into this totally different arena, don’t let that hold you back. None of us really knows what we came here to do and what we find out along the way is always a surprise. Your identity is about to change. Those who think they know you may have a hard time accepting this. Anyone who makes fun of it is just envious. Don’t take them seriously.

CAPRICORN: Having just woken up to what’s really going on, you face having to change your whole MO. If you are alone this will be no problem — but if you’re in a relationship, whoever you’re with may not like being dragged into what will be a major about face. One thing is for sure, you can’t keep compromising yourself. If you continue to, it will undermine your reputation and your spirit. Holding steady no matter what anyone else thinks or tries to make you do will be your biggest challenge in the next few months.

AQUARIUS: After finally finding out that what you thought you lost forever is still there, your faith has been restored. All your questions and doubts have been replaced with the feeling that some things actually are real and true. What you still can’t be sure of is what part you need to play now that you know what the score is. For so long you’ve held yourself back, believing that you had no right to expect or want anything from this. The way it looks now, you could actually turn out to be the one who gets it all because you deserve it.

GEMINI: The choices you’ve been wrestling with have been tough. Feeling torn about where your loyalties are has made it more confusing. We all have times when it’s easier to bend over than it is to stand up and be who we are. There’s no need to feel like a hypocrite for doing what’s expedient. Money issues are major. The financial tide is out. Keeping the faith that it’ll come back in is harder than it looks. Your love life is on the upswing. Nothing permanent there yet but at least someone’s showing some interest.

CANCER: Before you give everything away consider well who you’re giving it to. So many people want to carve you up for dinner you can’t be too careful. It’s taken you years to get where you are and whatever you have to share is worth more than you realize. In your relationships you have more going on than most of us. Those you’ve chosen to include in your emotional life are deeply attached to you. Don’t take them for granted. Take time to show them you care and let them know what they mean to you.

LEO: You had a vision of what you wanted that hasn’t come together. The delete key just got pressed on your plans and starting over is a theme. Don’t hang around in a state of shock for too long. Whatever your experiences are teaching you the sooner you get the message the better. It may be appropriate to take some time off. Some of the connections you made a few weeks ago have more to offer you than you realize. Follow that thread. It’ll take you to the next stop on your path to knowing what you’re here for.

VIRGO: There are some health concerns that have cropped up. Your work or the impact of someone close is making you sick. Either way you have to do something or nothing will improve. Any short-term upheaval will yield to a much better state of affairs. Strange coincidences will point up how the laws of serendipity make the world turn this week. Old contacts are going to stand by you. Mutual respect is so strong they will have no problem bailing you out, offering support, or cutting off their right arm for you.

LIBRA: You have finally recognized yourself and are operating at a much higher level. All the work you’ve done without expecting any acknowledgement has brought you all kinds of attention. SCORPIO: Your choices are so unclear and you are being driven by feelings that are way too powerful. It’s wonderful that you’ve been able to get out of your head! Fully actualizing your purpose here has so much to do with recognizing that spirit can’t work without a body! The more you allow yourself to become fully integrated the more your life will expand. Keep experimenting with this new discovery. It holds the key to everything.

PISCES: You’re running on faith and working more from the feelings in your heart. Nothing in your reality shows any sign that what you hope for will come to pass but privately you know it will. A year from now your life will look so much different. As you move in and out of your daily affairs operate independently, stay connected to yourself, and know that others care deeply from afar. Be firm with anyone who tries too hard to keep you under their thumb. It’s time to break out, stake your claim and be confident about who you are and what you want out of this thing we call life.

ARIES: Nobody thought it would go this way. You expected something more or something entirely different than what you’ve got and it’s calling you to wonder if it would be best to depart before things get worse. GEMINI: Circumstances have involved you with people who need you to do what they can’t do for themselves. And it’s quite possible that you’re the one who’s finally getting taken care of. Either way something is calling you to look at what we give and what we take from our relationships. You have begun to see that it’s impossible to be generous toward anyone if you don’t know how to receive. What goes around comes around. When you’re not out to take anything from anyone you can give them everything you have, and/or receive it back.

CANCER: Be mindful of the company you keep. You aren’t the least bit clear about why you’re here, and until you see that you came for a very specific lesson, your experiences will continue to teach you. At this point it’s difficult for you to separate what the child in you wants from what the adult needs. It’s more than evident that you don’t need this, but an older part of you keeps drawing you back to it. It would be better for you to focus on yourself and what you came here to do than it would be for you to spend all your energy feeding old patterns and negative people.

LEO: You could try a little harder but it won’t make a difference. No one’s noticing. And they either won’t or they can’t because they have other obligations and/or preferences. Give this situation only what it will take. Don’t knock yourself out over things that are of no consequence and don’t expect anyone to care. VIRGO: You may not know what to do next but at least you’re aware that something needs to change. Reviewing the last few months, let me remind you that nothing has been easy. The reason you’re obsessed with moving on to anything but this is because you’ve had to give up everything just to hang in there and do it. Give yourself a few more months to consider the uses of adversity and don’t try to change directions until you know for sure that you can’t get any satisfaction out of this. Bold moves won’t work now. Keep your nose to the grindstone and wait.

LIBRA: Now that everything has come together you have a whole new set of problems. Getting what we want doesn’t necessarily mean that life turns into a fairy tale. If you’re here for the right reasons your "better angels" will guide you through all of the changes that go with this transition; don’t worry about a thing. Those of you who aren’t clear about your motives will find it harder to deal with some of the stuff that’s going to come out of this. If the call to be honest is heeded, you’ll be able to redirect your energy into picking up where you left off and moving on.

SCORPIO: Too much is coming at you. If it seems that way, it’s because you take on more than your share of other people’s stuff. Half of this wouldn’t be a problem if you weren’t so involved with things that even they can’t change. Whatever it is that draws you to desperation, you seem to need this. Your ability to deal with other people and their pain is as much about you as it is about them. Underneath it all you wish someone would come and help you deal with yours, but there is still a deeper question lurking. Is all of this just a distraction that keeps even you from seeing it?

SAGITTARIUS: No one has more to say about how this goes than you do. Don’t assume that it’ll work for you to let it all take care of itself; and don’t overlook other people’s weaknesses just because it suits your purposes. Too much is on the line for you to be wishy-washy. Your next move may require you to put your foot down. CAPRICORN: Six months ago you were standing around with no sense of purpose and now, low and behold, you’ve got one. It doesn’t matter what it is; you could be chasing skirts, baking pies or healing the planet from within, for the first time in a long time, you’re onto something. No one needs to tell you that it’s great to have a sense of meaningfulness, in whatever we do. If this is what gives you joy keep it up and don’t let your security issues interfere with the idea that only through connecting with what we love do any of us find our way back to the source.

AQUARIUS: You can’t be sure about other people’s motives and you can’t overlook the fact that you don’t feel good about this. If one and one make two, I’d say it’s time to trust your intuition. No one knows how you’re going to respond to the return of something or someone who’s got a major hold on you at the emotional level. Getting back into anything that requires you to trust a situation that didn’t work out in the past will do nothing but drag you down. If there was ever a time to pull out all the stops on the detachment button, that time is now.

Pisces: Don’t overwork or overanalyze your issues. None of this is as dramatic as it feels. And even though you deserve to make the most of the experience, get off of your cloud and start living as if the drama meant less than your need to see it for what it is. Underneath it all, all you did was make a choice. Living with it will be easier if you understand that timing and boundaries mean everything right now. Speed up any process that looks like it could take forever and don’t let anyone try to tell you that they have the right to make what’s yours, their business.

ARIES: It doesn’t matter where you put your attention; everything is important right now. Instead of freaking out over it, be grateful that emergencies are your strong suit. TAURUS: You’ve had enough of the high life. What used to be your favorite arena is too full of nothing to warrant spending time there. Things have been so weird for so long, you’re not sure where to go for anything anymore. That’s OK. Think of it this way — by definition, when life loses its meaning all it means is we’re about to find it again. Perk up. This is a new beginning.

GEMINI: You get into too many double-bind situations not to be half aware that this is your nemesis. I don’t know how this feels to you, but when you’re always damned if you do and damned if you don’t, where do you get to live? After a while, it becomes obvious that being pulled apart is your favorite distraction and what it keeps you from doing is coming into balance with yourself. It’s OK to be out there connecting to things but don’t hook up with people or situations that require anything more from you than whatever it is you want for yourself.

CANCER: What do you have to say for yourself? This would feel a hell of a lot better if you could explain it. All of your recent actions have led others to misinterpret everything about where you’re coming from. The only thing you need to be asking yourself is, are your choices any of their business? There may be one or two you need to do some explaining to, but don’t go around apologizing to anyone for being yourself. When things change as much as they have for you, anyone who truly knows you and loves you wouldn’t need you to explain a thing.

LEO: You’d be happier about this if it paid more. I’m not so sure it’s just about money; a lot of things have been coming up short lately. Don’t take it personally and don’t get depressed about it. You can’t always be shining like a star. I have a feeling you’re getting a lesson in humility — or perhaps going through one of those "consider the uses of adversity" scenarios. One way or another, this is the way it is. Instead of getting paranoid about what it says about you, get real enough to see that this is all a matter of time and circumstance and try to find the light in it.

VIRGO: I can see why you’re pooped; being all things to all people sucks the life out of you. The desire to be the perfect friend, the perfect mate, the perfect person not only wipes you out but it makes you nuts. Only you can stop this. To add to the stress, overdoses of work and the need to concentrate on more than one thing at a time have turned life into a bit of a grind. If this sounds like you, you already know that you just want to be out of here. Give it time. And while you’re waiting for the pressure to drop try to imagine what you’ll be doing once you get your life back.

LIBRA: Things would be going a whole lot better if your sense of superiority and/or entitlement wasn’t driving everyone around you nuts. Take a good look at what’s going on; whatever your truth or your path or your goals are, don’t hold things over people and don’t expect them to drop down and agree with you. You could do so much with all the power you loan to yourself. Maybe this is all about you finding out that any power we have is meant to be given away. The less you make everything be about you, the happier you and everyone around you will be.

SCORPIO: This is getting ridiculous. How long have you been debating over this one? I don’t know what it’s all about but I can see that you’re wondering how much it will cost you to get involved. There are two things you need to think about. One is: sometimes people need you more than you need them. The other thing is: will this weaken or strengthen you? In a lot of ways you’d be better off on your own. But if this seems like a really good bet, go ahead and do it. As long as you don’t have to bow too much to compromise, it’ll be worth it to take the risk.

SAGITTARIUS: It may be too late to turn this around. If it is, you’re the one who’s going to have to take what’s left and figure out what to do with it. Don’t be too hard on yourself but don’t hesitate to look at how your actions have contributed to some of the stuff that’s haunting you now. If it helps, everyone is dealing with their version of the same thing. In situations like this it’s always more about holding steady and regrouping than it is about doing anything rash. Even if you wanted to make it all go away, you couldn’t — you can’t walk away from this.

CAPRICORN: The dynamics have changed on so many levels you’re not quite up to speed. Things have been moving so fast you haven’t had time to think, let alone talk things over with people. AQUARIUS: It’s hard to figure why people say one thing and do another. You’re confused by the way others keep getting caught up in their own lies — and you’re tired of being part of it.
