 I work with the Ask Your Guides Oracle Deck. When I do oracle readings I find this deck to be very helpful and geared at working with the readers' intution rather than reading symbols and hidden meanings as most find is neccessary when working with the tarot for instance.

Keep in mind when getting a Oracle Reading from me,  I always include the books meaning for each card pulled and also for what position it is pulled. However and more importantly you will recieve deeper insights from me personally as to what I feel each card means that the book has nothing to do with. therefore, I add my own interpretation to the reading. The only purpose for including the books definition of each card is so that 1) Possibly you can gain extra insights on things I was not able to piece together or see myself and 2) To offer each client the opportunity to flex their own intuitive muscles to see what they can make from the cards meaning alone prior to reading my take on things. In Live readings I leave the 'book' meaning out of it and just focus on my own interpretations.

I find this version of a reading to be bluntly honest and straight to the point. It is detailed too, but the points that are made are indeed straight to the point. No sugar coating at all with the runes! Runes are also more known for pointing out what needs to be known rather than what you want to know.

For example, if you come to me wanting to know about your love life or if 'Joe" likes you. It's possible you might be disapointed if there is something more important going on in your life that you need to deal with- The Runes are going to call you out!  If something is brewing and you need to be aware, the runes will dismiss your question about Joey and focus on more important matters at hand.

My suggestion is that if you decide to get a rune reading, do not try to focus so much on what you think you want to know about, but simply trust that what needs to be known or dealt with will be coming to light!

Runes are also not ideal to use if you seek to know your future. They don't really work that way. They are more about pointing out facts and letting you know what you need to do to correct or better situations in your life, or what you need to be prepared to face in the near future. They do show a likely outcome- though that outcome depends soley on your ability to take the advice that is given.

This tool is not to be used for those who feel they have no control over their fate or that what a reading says will happen is set in stone.  Some may refer to Spirit Guides as Guardian Angels, whose jobs and roles in the human life are similar to the conecption of a Spirit Guide.

I believe we all have multiple guides throughout our lives. Most come and go just as the friends we find in life. The main purpose for most guides is to help, or guide you to a better place in life, to help you find understanding in yourself and the world around you.  They are not there to tell you what you have to do, or to drag you to where you need to be in life. If that were the case they would be called your spirit leader rather than your spirit guide!

Most guides do communicate with us all. Though sadly most people do not know how to listen or what to listen for guides try to reach out to us to get points across in various ways such as, that little voice in your head that tells you doing a certain something is not a good idea, or by making certain sounds around you that trigger a certain thought of memory that has some importance to what you are going through, sometimes they even will create names, words or things people say around you to happen over and over again to get you to notice something you need to pay attention to.

There are many types of guides we all have. Some try to help heal our hearts after a bad break up, some have special knowledge about various things such as writing, poetry, math, science, woodworking, raising children etc, and they may come to your aid to try to help in some way.
